It features a powerful 400W Class D amplifier, an integrated 3-channel mixer with effects and EQ, and an advanced MP3 player with Bluetooth connectivity. This system supports playback from SD cards, USB drives, or directly from your smartphone/tablet. It also includes two USB inputs for connecting Proel U24H or U24B 2.4 GHz digital wireless microphones (sold separately). With its integrated lithium-ion battery, the V12FREE offers up to 10 hours of operation without mains power. Its ultra-portable and lightweight design (11 kg) allows for easy transport with a removable handle and wheels, and it can be mounted on standard speaker stands.

4. Aratohu Tatūnga

4.1 Te Wetewete

Carefully remove the Proel V12FREE from its packaging. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage that may have occurred during transit. Retain the original packaging for future transport or storage.

4.2 Whakataki Tuatahi

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the integrated lithium-ion battery. Connect the power cable to the AC input on the rear panel and plug it into a suitable power outlet. The battery level indicators on the control panel will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes several hours.

4.3 Whakanoho

The V12FREE can be placed on a flat, stable surface or mounted on a standard speaker stand using the integrated pole mount. When using the telescopic handle and wheels for transport, ensure the handle is fully extended and locked into position for comfortable pulling.

4.4 Hononga Pūrere

The V12FREE offers various input options:

  • Microphone/Line Inputs (CH1, CH2): Use XLR or 1/4" TRS cables to connect microphones or line-level instruments. Adjust the respective channel level knobs.
  • Stereo Line Input (CH3): Use RCA cables to connect stereo audio sources like CD players or other media devices.
  • USB/SD Media Player: Insert a USB drive or SD card into the dedicated slots on the media player section.
  • Nihokikorangi: Pair your smartphone or tablet wirelessly (see Section 5.2).
  • Pūorooro Ahokore: Connect Proel U24H or U24B wireless microphone receivers to the dedicated USB inputs labeled 'WIRELESS 1' and 'WIRELESS 2'.

5. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere

5.1 Hiko / Whakaweto

To power on the unit, ensure all connections are secure, then flip the POWER switch located on the rear panel to the 'ON' position. The LCD display will illuminate, and the unit will initialize. To power off, flip the switch back to 'OFF'.

5.2 Hononga Nihokikorangi

  1. Ensure the V12FREE is powered on.
  2. On the media player section, press the 'MODE' button until 'Bluetooth' is selected on the LCD display. The Bluetooth icon will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
  3. On your smartphone or tablet, go to Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
  4. Select 'PROEL V12FREE' from the list. Once connected, the Bluetooth icon on the V12FREE's display will stop flashing and remain solid.
  5. You can now play audio from your device through the V12FREE.

5.3 USB/SD Purei

  1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port or an SD card into the SD slot on the media player.
  2. The unit will automatically detect the media and display 'Play Music' on the LCD. If not, press the 'MODE' button to select USB or SD mode.

5.4 Microphone and Line Inputs

Connect your microphones or line-level devices to the respective inputs (CH1, CH2, CH3). Adjust the individual channel level knobs to set the input volume. Use the 'MASTER' volume knob to control the overall output level of the system.

5.5 EQ and Effects

The V12FREE features HIGH and LOW tone controls (EQ) to adjust the treble and bass frequencies of the overall mix. Turn the 'HIGH' knob to boost or cut high frequencies and the 'LOW' knob for bass frequencies. The 'EFFECT' knob controls the level of the integrated digital effect, adding reverb or other spatial effects to your sound.
