This cat flap is designed for installation in single-pane glass doors or windows with an installation depth of 5-18 mm. Due to the nature of glass, professional installation is highly recommended for cutting the required circular opening.

  3. Assemble the Cat Flap: Once the hole is cut, separate the two halves of the cat flap.
  4. Insert into Opening: Place one half of the cat flap (usually the exterior side) into the prepared hole from one side, and the other half (interior side) from the opposite side. Ensure the transparent flap is correctly oriented.
  5. Secure the Halves: Align the screw holes on both halves. Insert the provided screws through the designated holes and tighten them evenly to secure the cat flap firmly to the glass. Do not overtighten.
  6. Apply Screw Caps: Cover the screw heads with the provided screw caps for a finished appearance and to prevent tamppaenga.
  7. Tirohia te Mahi: Test the flap's movement and the locking mechanism to ensure smooth operation.

Locking Mechanism Settings:

Rotate the central knob to select one of the four access modes:

  • Open (In & Out): The flap can be used freely by your cat for both entry and exit.
  • Katia: The flap is locked from both sides, preventing any entry or exit.
  • Putanga Anake: Your cat can exit through the flap but cannot re-enter. This is useful for keeping your cat outside.
  • I roto Anake: Your cat can enter through the flap but cannot exit. This is useful for keeping your cat indoors.
