Installation of the ULTRALOQ Bolt Fingerprint Smart Lock is designed to be straightforward, typically requiring only a screwdriver and about 10 minutes. No wiring is required.

3.2 Install the Bolt and Strike

Insert the deadbolt into the door edge, ensuring the "UP" icon on the bolt is facing upwards. Secure it with the provided screws. Install the strike plate on the door frame.

3.3 Install Exterior and Interior Assemblies

Feed the cable from the exterior assembly through the door hole and connect it to the interior assembly. Secure both units to the door using the mounting plate and screws. Ensure the white paint side of the cable connector is facing up when connecting.

3.4 Install Batteries and Door Sensor

Insert the 8 AA batteries into the interior assembly. Install the door sensor on the door frame, aligning it with the deadbolt. The sensor helps with auto-lock/unlock features.

3.5 Whakaritenga Aranga

After installation, keep the lock in the unlock position and press the number '5' on the keypad for 5 seconds to calibrate the lock direction.

The Smart Lock automatically locks if your door closes (detected by the door sensor) and can be configured to auto-lock after a set period. This ensures your home is always secure.

• Whakahaere Uru Manuhiri: Share ekeys or codes remotely for permanent access, specific dates, or periods of time. Manage up to 50 access codes.
• Rārangi Mahi: View lock history to see who entered and when.
• Whakamōhiotanga wā-tūturu: Receive instant alerts for lock activity or when the door is left open.
• Ngā Aunoatanga Kāinga Atamai: Pair with other U-home smart products or third-party devices (Alexa, Apple Home, Google Home, SmartThings, IFTTT) to create automated routines (e.g., lights turn on when the door unlocks).

5.1 Apple Home Integration
