4.2 Hononga

The rear panel of the Smart SUB 8 provides all necessary connections. Refer to Figure 3 for a visual guide.

• Hononga Waea:
  1. Ensure your audio receiver or ampkua wetohia te kaipatu.
  2. Connect an RCA subwoofer cable (not included) from the 'SUB OUT' or 'LFE OUT' jack on your receiver/amplifier to the 'SUB IN' (RCA) input on the Canton Smart SUB 8.
  3. Set the 'SUB IN MODE' switch to 'WIRED'.

  1. Set the 'SUB IN MODE' switch to 'WIRELESS'.
  2. Press the 'WIRELESS PAIRING BUTTON' on the rear panel. The LED indicator on the front of the subwoofer will flash, indicating pairing mode.
  3. Follow the pairing instructions for your Canton Smart series main unit (e.g., soundbar or speaker system) to establish a wireless connection.

  1. Connect the supplied power cable to the 'POWER INPUT' on the rear panel of the subwoofer.
