2.3. Hononga Waea

Connect the included wiring harness, preout/camera harness, and USB extension cable to the corresponding ports on the rear of the receiver. Ensure all connections are secure before mounting the unit.

2.4. Hia Tuatahi

After all connections are made, turn on your vehicle's ignition to power the head unit. The unit will boot up and display the Alpine logo. Follow any on-screen prompts for initial setup.

3.2. Apple CarPlay me Android Auto

Connect your compatible smartphone via the USB port to access Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. These platforms allow hands-free control of navigation, music, messaging, and other apps using voice commands (Siri Eyes Free Control for iPhone, Google Assistant for Android). Ensure your parking brake is engaged to access certain setup menus for these features.

3.3. Hononga Nihokikorangi

3.4. Radio and SiriusXM

The iLX-W650 includes an AM/FM tuner. For SiriusXM satellite radio, a separate tuner (not included) is required. Once connected, SiriusXM channels can be accessed and managed through the unit's interface.
