  2. Insert two (2) AA alkaline batteries into the battery compartment, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
  3. The thermostat will power on, and the display will activate. The batteries provide approximately 1 year of autonomy. The device includes a power reserve to maintain programmed settings during battery replacement.

WARNING: Disconnect power at the main circuit breaker before proceeding.

  1. Remove the thermostat's backplate from the main unit.
  2. Connect the system wires to the appropriate terminals on the backplate. The contact rating is 8(5)A at 250Vac. Refer to your heating/cooling system's wiring diagram for specific connections.
  3. Secure the backplate to the wall using screws.
  4. Attach the main thermostat unit to the backplate, ensuring it clicks securely into place.
