Carefully remove the radio and all accessories from the packaging. Ensure all components listed in the 'Included Components' section are present.

  1. Connect the supplied AC power adapter to the DC 12V input port on the rear of the radio.
  2. Plug the power adapter into a suitable wall outlet (220 Volts).

Tatūnga Antenna

Extend the telescopic antenna fully for optimal signal reception for both DAB/DAB+ and FM radio. Adjust its position to improve reception if needed.

Initial Scan and Time/Date Setting

Upon first power-on, the radio will typically perform an automatic scan for available DAB/DAB+ and FM stations. It will also automatically set the time and date based on the received broadcast signal.

Radio Functions (DAB/DAB+ and FM)

  • Scanning Stations: In DAB or FM mode, the radio can perform an automatic scan to find available stations. Refer to the owner's manual for specific button sequences for auto-scan.
  • Whakatika: Whakamahia te HEINOA or arrow buttons to manually tune to stations or navigate through the station list.
  • Tatūkē: The radio supports up to 60 preset stations. To save a station, tune to it, then press and hold the TAITAIHI button. Select a preset number using the arrow buttons and confirm. To recall a preset, press the TAITAIHI button briefly and select the desired preset.
  • Whakaatu Mōhiohio: The LED display shows station name, song title, date, and time. Press the INFO / MENU button to cycle through available information.

  1. Switch the radio to Bluetooth mode using the MODE button. The display will indicate 'Bluetooth Pairing' or similar.

Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player) to the 3.5mm AUX IN port on the rear of the radio using a 3.5mm audio cable. Switch the radio to AUX mode using the MODE button to play audio from the connected device.
