The front panel features a large LED display, control buttons for navigation and selection (PRESET, INFO/MENU, ENTER/SCAN, SLEEP), tuning buttons (left/right arrows), and a MODE button. A rotary knob for SNOOZE/VOLUME and EQ adjustment is located on the right side.

The rear panel includes the telescopic antenna for radio reception and the DC 5V power input port.
5. Tatūnga
5.1 Hononga Hiko
- Insert the DC plug of the supplied power adapter into the DC 5V port on the rear of the radio.

For optimal FM and DAB/DAB+ reception, fully extend the telescopic antenna located on the rear of the unit. Adjust its position for the best signal quality.

Upon first power-on, the radio may automatically scan for available DAB/DAB+ stations. This process may take a few minutes. Once complete, the radio will display the time and date, and the first available station will begin playing.

6.2 Selecting Radio Modes

6.3 Station Tuning (DAB/DAB+)

- Enable Bluetooth on your smart device and search for 'SHARP DR-450'.
- Select the device to pair. Once connected, you can stream audio wirelessly.
6.7 AUX Whakauru
Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player) to the 3.5mm AUX IN port on the rear of the radio using a 3.5mm audio cable (not supplied). Switch the radio to AUX mode to play audio from the connected device.
6.8 Alarm Clock Functions
The DR-450 features dual alarms, a sleep timer, and a snooze function.
