The timer operates on standard batteries. To install or replace batteries:

Hia Tuatahi

Upon first power-on or after battery replacement, the display will show the current time or default to 0:00:00. The timer is now ready for operation.

Whakaahua: Mua view of the timer, displaying the LCD screen and all control buttons. Buttons include T1, T2, T3, T4, CLOCK at the top, and H, M, S, C, START STOP at the bottom.

The timer features several buttons for various functions:

  • T1, T2, T3, T4: Selects the desired timer channel.
  • KAraka: Toggles between clock display and timer display, and used for setting the clock.
  • H (Hours): Sets hours for countdown/count-up.
  • M (Minutes): Sets minutes for countdown/count-up.
  • S (Seconds): Sets seconds for countdown/count-up.
  • C (Clear): Clears the set time for the selected channel.
  • Timata / TAUTU: Starts or stops the selected timer.

Setting a Countdown Timer

  1. Press one of the channel buttons (T1, T2, T3, or T4) to select the desired timer. The display will show the selected channel indicator.
  2. Pehia te H, M, a S buttons to set the desired countdown time. Each press increments the value. Hold the button for rapid increment.

  4. When the countdown reaches zero, an extra-loud alarm will sound for 1 minute.

  6. To recall the previously programmed countdown time for a channel, press the corresponding channel button (T1-T4) after the timer has stopped.

Using as a Count-Up Timer (Stopwatch)

  1. Press one of the channel buttons (T1, T2, T3, or T4) to select the desired timer.
  2. Ensure the selected channel is cleared (display shows 0:00:00). If not, press the C pātene.
