3. Tatūnga

3.1 Te Whakataki i te Paneoro

Before first use, fully charge your headset. Connect the USB charging cable to the headset's charging port and the other end to a USB wall charger or a computer's USB port. The LED indicator will show charging status.

  • Battery Life: Up to 7 hours of talk time.

3.2 Pairing with a Mobile Device (Bluetooth)

  1. Turn on the headset by sliding the Power button.
  2. Activate pairing mode: Press and hold the Call button until the LED flashes red and blue.
  3. On your mobile device, go to Bluetooth settings and select "PLT V5200 Series" from the list of available devices.
  4. Once paired, the headset LED will stop flashing and you will hear "pairing successful".

3.3 Connecting to a Computer (USB-A Adapter)

  1. Insert the USB-A Bluetooth adapter (BT600) into a USB port on your computer.
  2. The adapter's LED will flash blue, then turn solid blue when connected to the headset.
  3. Ensure the headset is powered on and within range.
  4. Select the Poly Voyager 5200 UC as your audio input and output device in your computer's sound settings and communication applications (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom).

4. Te whakahaere i te Paneoro

4.1 Te Waea me te Whiwhi Waea

  • Whakautu Waea: Press the Call button or simply put on the headset (if Smart Sensors are enabled).
  • Whakamutu Waea: Patohia te paatene Waea.
  • Whakakore Waea: Patohia me te pupuri i te paatene Waea mo te 2 hēkona.
  • Waea Anō te Tau Whakamutunga: Pēhia rua te pātene Karanga.

4.2 Adjusting Volume and Mute

  • Rōrahi Whakarunga/Whakararo: Use the dedicated Volume buttons on the headset.
  • Wahangu/Wahangu: Press the Mute button. A voice alert will indicate "mute on" or "mute off".

4.3 Smart Sensor Technology

The headset features Smart Sensor technology, which intelligently routes calls and audio based on whether the headset is being worn. For example:

  • Putting on the headset during an incoming call will automatically answer it.
  • Taking off the headset during a call will transfer the audio back to your phone (if connected).
  • Taking off the headset while listening to music will pause the music.

4.4 Voice Commands and Alerts

The headset provides voice alerts for various statuses, such as power on/off, battery level, incoming calls (caller ID), and mute status. You can also use voice commands for certain functions (refer to the Poly Lens app for customization).
