Use only Fujifilm Instax Mini film packs. Each pack contains 10 exposures.

1. Te Hiko / Whakaweto

Press the power button located on the top right of the camera to turn it on. The lens will extend. Press it again to turn off the camera and retract the lens.

2. Tango Whakaahua

With the camera powered on, compose your shot through the viewfinder. Press the shutter button on the front of the camera to take a picture. The photo will automatically eject from the top slot.

3. Aratau Whaiaro

The Instax Mini 70 features a small mirror next to the lens for easy selfie composition. Select selfie mode using the mode button to optimize settings for close-up shots.

4. Aratau Whakapupuri

The camera offers various shooting modes to adapt to different lighting conditions and subjects. Use the 'MODE' button to cycle through options such as:

  • Aratau Tonotono: For close-up shots (0.3m - 0.6m).
  • Aratau Whenua: For distant subjects (3m and beyond).
  • High-Key Mode: Brightens the subject for a softer look.
  • Whakakī-i-te-Uira: Ensures proper exposure in low light or backlit situations.

5. Takiwā-whaiaro

Activate the self-timer function for group photos or when you want to be in the shot. Press the self-timer button, and the camera will take a photo after a short delay (typically 10 seconds).
