1. Kupu Whakataki
The CONTEC CMS50D2 Pulse Oximeter is a non-invasive device designed for measuring the oxygen saturation of arterial hemoglobin (SpO2) and the pulse rate. This device is intended for spot-checking and continuous monitoring of adult and pediatric patients in home and clinical environments. It provides a quick and accurate assessment of respiratory function.
The concentration of oxygen determines the percentage of hemoglobin in arterial blood that is saturated with oxygen, making it an important parameter for evaluating respiratory function. The device is small, lightweight, and portable, making it convenient for use anywhere.
2. Nga korero haumaru
Please read all safety warnings and instructions carefully before using this device. Improper use may result in inaccurate readings or device damage.
- Kaua e whakamahia te oximeter pulse i roto i te taiao MRI, CT ranei.
- Do not use the device in environments with flammable anesthetics.
- The device is not intended for continuous monitoring of patients requiring constant supervision.
- Tiakina te taputapu mai i te wai me te makuku.
- Consult a medical professional for interpretation of readings and before making any medical decisions.
3. Nga Hua o te Hua
- Determines arterial oxygen saturation (SpO2) and pulse rate (PRbpm).
- Displays SpO2 value and pulse rate value.
- Vol ititage indicator and audible alarm if pulse is above set limit.
- Suitable for individuals with heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases, bronchial asthma, and for high-altitude sports (mountaineering, skiing, aviation).

- Me whakarite kia tika te whakauru o nga pākahiko.
- Whakatuwheratia te clamp o te oximeter.
- Insert one of your fingers (preferably the index, middle, or ring finger) into the rubber opening of the oximeter, ensuring the nail surface is facing upwards towards the display.
- Tukua te clamp, allowing the oximeter to securely hold your finger.
- Press the power button on the top of the device to turn it on.
- Keep your hand still during the measurement. Do not shake your finger.
- The readings for SpO2 and pulse rate will appear on the display within a few seconds.
- To change the display orientation or brightness, briefly press the power button while the device is on.
- The device will automatically power off after 5 seconds of inactivity or if the finger is removed.

7. Whakaatuhia nga korero
The OLED display provides the following information:
- SpO2: Peripheral Oxygen Saturation (percentage). This indicates the percentage of hemoglobin in your blood that is saturated with oxygen. Normal values typically range from 95% to 100%.
- PRbpm: Pulse Rate (beats per minute). This is the number of times your heart beats per minute. Normal adult resting heart rate ranges from 60 to 100 bpm.
- Kauwhata Pae Pā: A vertical bar graph indicating the strength of the pulse.
- Plethysmograph (Waveform): A graphical representation of the pulse, showing blood flow through the finger.
- Tohu Pūhiko: Ka whakaatu i te oranga o te pākahiko e toe ana.
8. Tiaki me te Tiaki
8.1. Te horoi
Horoia te mata o te oximeter i mua atu, ā, i muri i ia whakamahinga. Whakamahia he kakahu ngohengohe.ampened with medical alcohol (70% ethanol or isopropanol) to wipe the surface. Do not immerse the device in liquid.
8.2. Rokiroki

9. Te Raru
| Raruraru | Take pea | Rongoā |
|---|---|---|
| Karekau he whakaaturanga i muri i te whakahiko | Kua mate nga pākahiko, kua he ranei te whakaurunga. | Whakakapia ngā pākahiko, tāutahia rānei kia tika, me te tirotiro anō i te polarity. |
| Nga korero tika | Finger not inserted properly; patient movement; strong ambient light; nail polish or artificial nails. | Re-insert finger correctly; remain still; shield from strong light; remove nail polish/artificial nails. |
| "Finger Out" or "Error" message | Finger not detected or poor signal quality. | Ensure finger is fully inserted and still. Try a different finger. |
