  2. Te horoi tuatahi: Before first use, wash all parts with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Ensure all soap residue is removed.
  3. Huihuia te Tātari: Attach the stainless steel filter basket to the bottom of the lid's plunger mechanism. Ensure it is securely fastened.

  3. Tī Matao: Allow the tea to steep for the recommended time according to your tea type.
  4. Whakamutua te Werohanga: Once the desired strength is reached, press the plunger down. This lowers the filter to the bottom of the teapot, separating the tea leaves from the brewed tea and stopping the infusion process.

  1. Pour Tea: Hold the handle firmly and carefully pour the brewed tea into your cup.
