Its IPX7 waterproof rating ensures durability in wet environments, while its multi-timer and repeat functions provide flexibility for complex timing needs. Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper use and maintenance of your device.

2. Nga waahanga matua

  • IPX7 Fully Waterproof: Designed to withstand splashes and submersion, ideal for kitchen and outdoor use.
  • Multi-Timer Function: Capable of memorizing and running up to 8 individual timer settings sequentially.
  • Tukurua Mahi: Set the timer to repeat from 1 to 999 times, or for an indefinite duration.
  • Whakamōhiotanga Pūoho Takirua: Alerts with both a red LED light (blinks for approx. 30 seconds) and a buzzer sound (5 or 30 seconds duration).
  • Countdown & Count-up Modes: Functions as a countdown timer for set intervals and a count-up timer from zero.
  • Mahi Mahara: Stores frequently used timer settings for quick recall.

3. Tatūnga

3.1. Ihirangi mokete

  • A&D Waterproof Interval Timer AD-5709TL
  • Pukapuka Tohutohu
  • CR2032 Lithium Battery (for monitor use)

3.2. Tāuta Pūhiko

The timer uses one CR2032 lithium battery. A battery is included for initial monitoring purposes. For long-term use, it is recommended to replace it with a new battery.

  2. Use a coin or a flat tool to twist the battery cover counter-clockwise to open.

3.3. Hia Tuatahi

Once the battery is correctly installed, the timer will automatically power on and display '00:00'.

4. Mahi

4.1. Nga Mahi Patene

4.2. Te Whakatakoto i te Taima Tatau Whakamuri

  1. Ensure the timer display is '00:00'. If not, press the Kati pātene ki te tautuhi anō.
  2. Whakamahia te 1分, 10秒, a 10分 buttons to set your desired countdown time. The maximum setting is 99 minutes 50 seconds, and the minimum is 10 seconds.
  3. Pehia te スタート/ポーズ pātene hei tīmata i te tatau iho.
  4. Hei whakamutu i te tatau iho, pēhi スタート/ポーズ ano. Pēhia kia kotahi anō kia tīmata anō.
  5. When the timer reaches zero, the alarm will sound (buzzer for 5 or 30 seconds) and the red LED will blink for approximately 30 seconds.
  6. Pehia te Kati button to silence the alarm and reset the timer to the last set time.

4.3. Using Multiple Timers (Sequential Operation)

The AD-5709TL can store and run up to 8 sequential timer settings. This is ideal for interval training or multi-step processes.

  1. Set the first timer duration using the 1分, 10秒, a 10分 pātene.
  2. Pehia te メモリ button to save this setting as Step 1. The display will show '00:00' or the next step number.
  3. Repeat the process to set and save up to 8 steps. Each time you press メモリ, it saves the current setting and moves to the next step number.
  4. Once all steps are set, press スタート/ポーズ to begin the sequence. The timer will count down each step consecutively.
  5. The alarm will sound after each step completes, and the timer will automatically proceed to the next step.

4.4. Mahi Whakahoki

After setting your sequential timers (or a single timer), you can set the number of times the sequence should repeat.

  1. After setting your timer steps (as described in 4.3), press the メモリ button repeatedly until the display shows the repeat count setting (e.g., 'RPT 001').
  2. Whakamahia te 1分, 10秒, a 10分 buttons to adjust the repeat count from 1 to 999.
  3. To set for permanent (infinite) repeat, continue pressing the buttons until 'RPT INF' or similar is displayed.
  4. Perehi スタート/ポーズ to start the repeating timer sequence.

4.5. Count-up Function

To use the count-up function:

  1. Ensure the timer display is '00:00'.
  2. Pehia te スタート/ポーズ button. The timer will immediately start counting up from 00 minutes 00 seconds.
  3. Perehi スタート/ポーズ again to pause the count-up.
  4. Pehia te Kati button to stop the count-up and reset the display to '00:00'.

5. Tiaki

5.1. Te horoi

Hei horoi i te taima, murua ki te wai ngohengohe.amp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse the device in water beyond its IPX7 rating. Ensure the battery compartment is securely closed before cleaning with moisture.

5.2. Whakakapinga Pūhiko

When the display becomes dim or the timer functions erratically, it's time to replace the battery. Follow the steps in Section 3.2 for battery installation. Always use a new CR2032 lithium battery.

5.3. Rokiroki

Store the timer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, it is recommended to remove the battery to prevent leakage.
