Tāuta Pūhiko

The Seiko SQ772G requires two AAA batteries for operation. These batteries are included with your purchase. To install:

  1. Whakatuwheratia te uhi o te wahanga pākahiko kei muri o te karaka.
  2. Whakauruhia nga pākahiko AAA e rua, kia tika te polarity (+ me te -) kua tohua ki roto i te waahanga.
  3. Katia kia mau te uhi o te wahanga pākahiko.

Once batteries are installed, the digital display should activate.

Automatic Time Synchronization (Radio Wave Reception)

This clock automatically receives radio waves to set and maintain precise time. For optimal reception, place the clock in a location free from interference from other electronic devices or large metal objects. The clock will attempt to synchronize with the nearest standard time radio transmitter.

Mahi Maama Po

The clock is equipped with an automatic night light. When the clock's cover is open and the surrounding environment becomes sufficiently dark, the display will automatically illuminate with a soft glow. To temporarily brighten the display further, press the snooze button.

Disabling Automatic Night Light

To turn off the automatic night light function, simply close the clock's cover. The automatic illumination feature will be deactivated when the cover is closed.

Radio Functionality

The clock includes a radio function, allowing you to listen to your preferred radio stations. Use the dedicated controls on the device to tune to stations and adjust the volume.

Taumahinga Matama

An integrated timer function allows you to set a specific duration after which the night light will automatically turn off. Consult the clock's controls for setting and activating the timer.

Note on Alarm Function

Please note: This Seiko SQ772G model does not include an alarm clock function.

To clean the clock, gently wipe its surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these can damage the finish or internal components.

When the display dims, the night light becomes weak, or the clock's functions become erratic, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps outlined in the 'Setup' section. Always replace both AAA batteries simultaneously with new ones. Dispose of old batteries according to local regulations.
