This section guides you through the initial setup of your Numark N4 controller, ensuring proper connection and software configuration.

After all connections are made, switch the power button to the 'On' position. To power off, ensure all audio is faded out, then switch the power button to 'Off'.

Connect external audio sources (CD players, turntables) to the N4's RCA inputs. Use the input selectors on the mixer section to route these sources through the N4's mixer, allowing you to mix them alongside your software decks.

  • Software Not Recognizing N4: Confirm the USB cable is securely connected to both the N4 and your computer. Restart your DJ software and/or computer. Ensure you have the latest drivers and software updates installed.
