2. Tatūnga

2.1 Te Wetewete

  • Protective Cover/Tray

2.2 Tāuta Pūhiko

The scale requires two AAA batteries for operation. Follow these steps to install or replace batteries:

  1. Rapua te wahanga pākahiko kei raro o te tauine.
  2. Paheke marietia te uhi o te wahanga pākahiko.
  3. Whakauruhia nga pākahiko AAA e rua, kia tika te polarity (+/-) e tohuhia ana ki roto i te waahanga.

2.3 Te Whakanoho Tuatahi

For accurate readings, place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface. Avoid placing it on soft, uneven, or vibrating surfaces, as this can affect precision.

3. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere

3.1 Hiko / Whakaweto

  • Hei huri i te tauine ON, pehia te [⑂] button. The LCD display will illuminate and show "88888" then "0.0g" (or the last used unit).
  • Hei huri i te tauine WATE, pehia me te pupuri i te [⑂] button for a few seconds. The scale also features an automatic shut-off function after approximately 60 seconds of inactivity to conserve battery life.

3.2 Te Tukanga Taumaha

  1. Ensure the scale is on a stable surface and powered on, displaying "0.0g".
  2. Āta whakatakotoria te mea hei paunatia ki waenganui o te papa pauna.

3.3 Hurihanga Waehe

The scale supports multiple weighing units. To change the unit:

  • Pehia te [WAE] button repeatedly to cycle through the available units: karamu (g), hekere (oz), carats (ct), pennyweights (dwt), a grains (gn).
  • Ka whakaaturia te waeine kua tīpakohia ki te mata LCD.

3.4 Mahi Tare

The tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container, so you can measure only the net weight of its contents.

  1. Whakanohoia he ipu kore ki runga i te papa pauna.
  2. Pehia te [TARE] pātene. Ka tautuhi anō te whakaaturanga ki te "0.0g".
  3. Add the items you wish to weigh into the container. The display will show only the weight of the items.
  4. To clear the tare, remove all items and the container from the platform, then press [TARE] again if the display does not return to zero automatically.

3.5 Mahi Tatau (PCS)

The counting function allows you to count a large number of small, identical items.

  1. Turn the scale on and ensure it displays "0.0g".

4. Tiaki

4.1 Te horoi

To maintain the accuracy and appearance of your scale:

  • Wipe the scale with a soft, slightly damp kakahu.

  • Avoid getting moisture inside the scale.

4.2 Rokiroki

When not in use, store the scale in a clean, dry, and cool environment. Use the protective cover/tray to prevent dust and damage to the weighing platform.

Replace the batteries when the display shows a "LO" indicator, or when the scale fails to power on. Refer to Section 2.2 for battery installation instructions.

5. Te Raru

If you encounter issues with your scale, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • "LO" displayed: Indicates low battery power. Replace the two AAA batteries.
  • "OUE2" or "EEEE" displayed: Indicates an overload condition. Remove the item from the platform immediately to prevent damage to the scale. The maximum capacity is 1000g.
