From the housing to the protective cover, the Galaxy Tab Active5 is built robustly from the ground up. It is dust and water-resistant according to IP68 ² and meets the military standard MIL-STD-810H ³, according to which the device has been positively tested for drops, vibration, temperature, and humidity, among other criteria.

Usable with Gloves: The touch sensitivity mode ⁹ increases the responsiveness of the touchscreen for use with work gloves. Even when the screen is wet, users can use the S Pen to continue working.

Practical Pen Function: The S Pen can be used to edit documents, write notes, edit images, and capture signatures. These functions are ideal for mobile work and digital business processes.

POGO Pins for Charging Stations: Thanks to the replaceable battery in the Galaxy Tab Active5, users can easily swap batteries without needing to charge during work hours. Multiple devices can be docked and charged quickly simultaneously via separately available multi-charging stations ⁸.

Programmable Key and Barcode Scanning with Knox Capture: The function key on the side can launch selected apps or tasks, allowing for more efficient work on-site. For example, couriers can easily scan delivery notes by pressing the key to conveniently start data capture with Knox Capture ¹¹.

No Battery Mode: The Galaxy Tab Active5 can be powered on and used without a battery. Connected to a power source via USB-C, it can be operated, for example, in a vehicle or a self-service terminal without stressing the battery.

Dual-SIM Function: The Galaxy Tab Active5 also features eSIM support ⁵, allowing mobile connections for work and personal use to be kept separate. Users can also seamlessly switch between eSIM and physical SIM when they have two mobile contracts active.

1. Display diagonal measured in a full rectangle and without accounting for rounded corners. The actual usable screen area is further reduced by the camera area.
