Already have an account? Simply log in. 4 Initial Start-up Steps 1. Carefully lift off the rubber piece at the bottom of your camera to gain access to the micro USB charging port. Connect one end of the USB cable to a USB power adapter and plug it into an outlet. If you do not have a USB power adapter, you may use a USB charging port. NOTE: USB power adapter not included. 5 Initial Start-up Steps (Continued) 3. After a few seconds of your camera being plugged in you will hear "Camera is in Pairing Mode". You can now begin the installation process using the Night Owl application Camera is in Pairing Mode NOTE: Keep your camera plugged in for up to 3 hours to fully charge. Add Your Camera To begin viewing your camera, add it to the Night Owl app or to a compatible recorder. For more detailed setup steps, scan the QR code below. 6 Connecting to a Wi-Fi router Adding your camera. 1. Open Night Owl Protect app 2. Tap on "Add New" or "+" For iOS Tap "Add New." For Android Tap "+" iOS Android 3. Scan the QR code at the side of the camera 4. Follow the on-screen display to add the camera step by step. 7 Connecting to a Wi-Fi router (Continued) NOTE: The Router's security protocol MUST be set to WPA/WPA2 (strong security). If setup is completed using Network Discovery or Manual setup by UID once your device is added to the network you will need to select the category of the device to proceed. Select "Standalone camera" from the 8 Camera Installation 1. Use the holes in the back of each camera as a template to mark the screw positions on the surface where you plan to mount the camera. 3.
