  5. Fifth, Testing period: When all the transmitters are set up, there Is a testing period, during which the display switches quickly between all the received transmitters at random, according to which random transmission it receives. Pressing any key will stop this process and the display will show the temperature for the first transmit-ter. The process also stops automatically if no keys are pressed for a few minutes.

PART 3: The Outdoor Temperature Transmitter

IMPORTANT: The temperature is measured and transmitted to the Temperature Station approximately every 60 seconds. (1)The range of the Temperature Transmitter may be affected by the temperature. At cold temperatures the transmitting distance may be decreased. Please bear this in mind when positioning the transmitter. Also the batteries may be reduced in power. (2)You can put the outdoor transmitter in garage, on outdoor wall or window or indoor living room or in garden. The valid distance for the transmitter and receiver is up to 50M in an open area.

Positioning the Temperature Station:

The Temperature station comes attached with a removable table stand, which provides the option of table standing or wall mounting the unit. Before wall mounting, please check that the outdoor temperature(s) can be received from the desired location(s).
To wall mount:
1. Fix a screw (not supplied) into the desired wall, leaving the head extended out the by about 5mm.
2. Remove the stand from the Temperature station by pulling it away from the base and hang the station onto the screw. Remember to ensure that it locks into place before releasing.

PART 5: 433 RECEPTION CHECK

The Temperature station will receive the temperature data within 3 minutes when power on it. If the temperature data is not being received 3 minutes after setting up (the display shows “- – -“), then please check the following points: 1. The distance of the Temperature Station or transmitter should be at least 1.5 to 2 meters away from any interfering sources such as computer monitors or TV sets. 2. Avoid placing the receiver onto or in the immediate proximity of metal window frames. 3. Using other electrical products such as headphones or speakers operating on the same signal frequency (433 MHz) may prevent correct signal transmission and reception.

4. Neighbors using electrical devices operating on the 433 MHz signal frequency can also cause interference. proximity of metal window frames.
Note: When the 433MHz signal is received correctly, do not re-open the battery cover of either the transmitter or Temperature Station, as the batteries may spring free from the contacts and force a false reset. Should this happen accidentally then reset all units (see Setting up 182 above) otherwise transmission problems may occur. The transmission range is around 25-50m from the transmitter to the Temperature station (in open space). However, this depends on the surrounding environment and interference levels. If no reception is possible despite the observation of these factors, all system units have to be reset (see Setting up 1842 ).

PART 6: IMPORTANT USING TIPS

(Please read carefully when operate this device)

  1. For better work, use dual energy supply, connect power adaptor while using the battery to supply power to the weather station. Because if the power is interrupted, all data will be lost.
  2. When it encounters an unexpected power outage, it takes at least an hour to get accurate temperature and humidity data. The weather forecast is +12 hours in the future. I hope you understand.
  3. Please do not put your wireless outside sensor in direct sunlight or rain to affect its accurate.
  4. When powered by batteries, to save power, backlight only lights up a few seconds(Power saving mode).Touch the “Snooze” button to wake up the backlight.
  5. About the alarm: When the alarm goes off, the default snooze time is 5 minutes (you can adjust the snooze time by setting). To cancel the resound, press any button on the back of the screen.
  6. About the alarm: When the temperature alarm sounds, you want to stop the alarm and press any key (but the corresponding temperature and alarm symbols will still flash.)
  7. Merece  weather station comes with only 1 wireless remote sensor/Temperature Transmitter. Please make sure your indoor station is at the same channel with remote sensor.
  8. The weather station gets the weather from the transmitter. And one temperature station support take up to 3 remote transmitters. But please make sure you have named the transmitters in different number.

PART 7: Care and Maintenance

  • Extreme temperatures, vibration and shock should be avoided as these may cause damage to the units and give inaccurate forecasts and readings.
  • When cleaning the displays and casings, use a soft damp cloth only. Do not use solvents or scouring agents as they may mark the LCD and casing.
  • Do not submerge the units in water. Immediately remove all low powered batteries to avoid leakage and damage. Replace only with new batteries of the recommended type. Do not expose the units to extreme and sudden temperature changes, as this may lead to rapid changes in forecasts and readings and thereby reduce their accuracy.
