Installation Options:
The Single Pole Switch with Power Outlet offers two installation
options:
- Common Feed: The switch and power outlet are
wired to one HOT circuit. The FIN connection keeps hots connected
but the switch is used separately. This option is most common and
uses fewer wires. - Separate Feed: The switch and outlet are on
separate circuits with the BREAK OFF fin removed. This keeps the
outlet and switch electrically separate.
Switched Outlet:
The switch controls the ON/OFF function of the power outlet when
the Break off fin is removed.
Warranty Information
1-YEAR WARRANTY
Maxxima extends a 1-year limited warranty to the original
purchaser. The warranty covers defects in material and/or
workmanship. Maxxima will replace any warrantied product if it
fails due to defects within the warranty period. The warranty is
not transferable and applies to the original installation of the
product.

FAQ
Q: How do I know which installation option to choose?
A: If you want the switch and outlet to be on
the same circuit, choose the Common Feed option. If you want them
on separate circuits, choose the Separate Feed option by removing
the BREAK OFF fin.
Q: What does the Break off fin do?
A: Removing the Break off fin allows the switch
to control the power outlet, enabling ON/OFF functionality.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING: Always shut off power at the circuit breaker or fuse before beginning any work Step 1: Prepare for Installation · Disconnect the old fixture: If you are replacing an
existing fixture, first remove and disconnect the old fixture. · Remove the Break-off Fin (If Needed): For separate feed and/or switched outlet wiring configurations, the break-off fin located between the two dark-colored screws must be removed *NOTE* Use a flat-head screwdriver to bend the fin back and forth until it breaks off completely. Step 2: Wire the Switch/Outlet Combo · Prepare the Wires: Remove approximately 3/8″ to 5/8″ of insulation from the wires · Connect the Wires: The hot terminals have the dark-colored screws. Loop each wire around its respective terminal screw as shown in the diagrams below. · Secure the Connections: Fasten the terminal screws securely. The terminals accept up to #12-AWG copper or copper clad wire. Step 3: Mount the Device · Mount the switch/outlet combo to the electrical box using the long mounting screws provided · Attach the wall plate. Step 4: Restore Power · Restore power at the circuit breaker or fuse.
