IMPORTANT SAFETY CAUTIONS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed. These include the following:

- If the product is transferred or resold to another user, it is necessary to include the user manual as it is an integral part of the product.
- The appliance should be used on a level, flat and stable heat-resistant surface. Do not use the product near sinks or in damp rooms.
- Always switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply if it is left unattended.
- If the connection to the mains has been damaged, it must be replaced, take the appliance to an authorised technical support centre.
- Ensure that the voltage indicated on the rating label matches the mains voltage before use.
- Connect the appliance to a grounded socket and make sure that it is inserted correctly.
- Do not use plug adaptors.
- Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged.
- If any of the appliance casings break, immediately disconnect the appliance from the mains to prevent the possibility of an electric shock.
- Do not force the power cord or use it to lift, carry or unplug the appliance.
- Check the state of the power cord. Damaged or tangled cables increase the risk of electric shock. If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or by an authorized technical service in order to avoid a hazard.
- In order to avoid dangerous situations, replacement or repair of product components may only be carried out by the manufacturer, an authorized service centre or a person with similar qualifications.
- Disassembling or attempting to repair the appliance yourself carries a risk of electric shock.
- Make sure that the power cord is located away from sharp edges or heat sources that could damage it.
- The power cord must not hang off the edge of the table or countertop.
- To remove the plug from the power outlet, always grasp the plug; do not remove the plug by pulling on the power cord.
- No liquid should flow onto the plug and connection.
- Do not immerse the body of the appliance or power cord in water or other liquids or put them under running water. There is a risk of loss of life due to electric shock.
- Do not handle or operate the appliance with wet hands or while standing on a wet floor.
- The appliance is not suitable for outdoor use.
- Subject to appropriate supervision, instruction on safe use, and ensuring that the hazards are understood, this appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- The appliance must not be operated or cleaned by children.
- Children must not play with the appliance.
- Children should remain under adult supervision to prevent them from playing with the appliance.
- Keep the appliance and power cord out of reach of children.
- The temperature of the accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is in use.
- Blades are sharp and could cause harm, be careful and avoid direct contact with the blades’ cutting edges.
- Pay special attention when handling the blades, during assembly and disassembly operations and during cleaning.
- Before using the appliance ensure that the blender leg is properly fixed in place.
- Always make sure that the product is unplugged from the power source before any assembly, disassembly, replacing parts, or cleaning.
- The maximum food temperature that the appliance can come in contact with is 80˚C.
- The supplier is not responsible for any damages resulting from improper connection or use of the product.
Warning
- Incorrect use may result in bodily injury. Use this product only in accordance with this manual. Never attempt to modify the product in any way.
- Never immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid, nor rinse it under the tap. Only use a moist cloth to clean the motor unit.
- Risk of injury in case of improper use! The cutting blades are very sharp; exercise extreme caution and avoid direct contact with the cutting blades.
- Risk of burns! Never use the product with boiling water or hot grease.
Caution
The appliance is intended for domestic and similar use. The product is not intended for commercial use.

BEFORE FIRST USE
- Make sure that all the product’s packaging has been removed.
- Thoroughly clean all parts that will come into food contact before you use the appliance for the first.
Note:
• Make sure all parts are completely dry before you start using the appliance.
PREPARING FOR USE
- Unwind the power cord completely and assemble the appliance properly before you put the plug in the wall.
- Caution:
- Avoid contact with moving parts. Keep hands and fingers away from blades and out of container during operation or while appliance is plugged in to prevent the possibility of severe injury to persons and/or damage to the appliance.
USING THE APPLIANCE
- The product is intended for blending, mashing, and crushing food, in particular vegetables and fruits. It must not be used with non-food products. Before crushing, first cut the food into smaller pieces.
- Do not use the appliance for frozen products or crushing ice, or with very hard products (e.g. nuts or stones) – this can dull the cutting blade.
- Attach the blender leg to the motor unit by turning it counter clockwise.
- Put your ingredients into a mixing bowl/container.
- Put the plug in the wall outlet.
- Immerse the blade guard completely in the ingredients to avoid splashing.
- Turn the appliance on, by pushing down on one of the speed control buttons.
- Move the appliance slowly up and down and in circles to blend the ingredients.
Caution:
• Never add ingredients to the container while the appliance is in operation. - After you have finished blending, release the speed control button to turn the appliance off and unplug the appliance.
- Remove the blender leg by turning it clockwise.
- For easy cleaning, rinse the blender leg and blades immediately after use with hot water.
- Place the blender leg in an upright position with the blade guard on top and let it dry for at least 10 minutes before storing.
CLEANING
- Unplug the appliance.
- Detach the blender leg from the motor unit.
- The blender leg can be rinsed under the tap and placed in the dishwasher in an upright position.
- The motor housing needs to be cleaned with a damp cloth.
- Dry all parts before its assembly and storage.
Caution:
• Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or base pH such as bleach, or abrasive products, for cleaning the appliance.
• Never submerge the hand blender in water or any other liquid or place it under running water.
STORAGE
- Unplug the appliance and disassemble all parts.
- Make sure all parts are clean and dry before storing.
ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY DISPOSAL
This symbol means that this product shall not be disposed of with normal household waste (2012/19/EU). Products marked with this symbol must be separately collected and recycled in designated collection points.
The presence of hazardous components in the equipment may potentially be harmful to the environment, e.g. cause contamination, and as a result pose a risk to human health.
Proper sorting of waste in households plays a major role in the recycling process of waste electronic equipment. Following the rules of separate collection ensures a sufficient level of human health and environmental protection.
WARRANTY
- The manufacturer provides warranty in accordance with the legislation of the customer’s own country of residence, with a minimum of 1 year, starting from the date on which the appliance is sold to the end user.
- The warranty only covers defects in material or workmanship.
- When making a claim under the warranty, the original bill of purchase (with purchase date) must be submitted.
- The warranty will not apply in cases of:
- Normal wear and tear.
- Incorrect use, e.g. overloading of the appliance, use of non-approved accessories
- Use of force, damage caused by external influences.
- Damage caused by non-observance of the user manual or non-compliance with the installation instructions.
- Partially or completely dismantled appliances.
