Safety Instructions

Please read these instructions thoroughly before you use the device and keep them for future reference.

• Only for indoor use.
• Do not expose the product to extremely high or lowtemperatures, strong light sources or direct sunlight.
• This product is not a toy. Keep out of reach of children.
• Repairs or service should only be performed by qualified personnel

Requirements

This product requires a stable working Wi-Fi network (user name/password) connected to the Internet.

Product introduction

The wired Zigbee gateway is the central component of the Zigbee network. Zigbee products (intelligent switches, power outlets, door magnets, PIR and other products) are added to the network through the gatewayto establish communication with other Zigbee products.
The gateway is connected to the router via the network cable to establish communication with the Cloud and the Smart me app. The Zigbee products can be viewed and controlled via the app.

Installation of the Smart me app

Download and install the Marmitek Smart me app from the Apple app store or the Google Play store. Launch the Smart me app after installation is completed.
Follow the instructions and register for a new account.

Installation of the Link ME

Make sure your smartphone is connected to the router’s wifi network to which you are going to connect the Link
ME.
Make sure the Link ME is powered via the Micro USB connector and connect the network cable to the Link ME and your router.
Check that the network light is on continuously, if not, press the reset button until the network light comes on continuously.
Launch the Smart me app from your smartphone or tablet.
Click on the + (top right corner) to add a new product, confirm that the network light flashes quickly and follow the instructions.
Press Help button during installation for more information or when installation fails.

Installation of the Smart me app

Download and install the Marmitek Smart me app from the Apple app store or the Google Play store. Launch the Smart me app after installation is completed.
Follow the instructions and register for a new account.

Installation of the Link ME

Make sure your smartphone is connected to the router’s wifi network to which you are going to connect the Link ME.
Make sure the Link ME is powered via the Micro USB connector and connect the network cable to the Link ME and your router.
Check that the network light is on continuously, if not, press the reset button until the network light comes on continuously.
Launch the Smart me app from your smartphone or tablet.
Click on the + (top right corner) to add a new product, confirm that the network light flashes quickly and follow the instructions.
Press Help button during installation for more information or when installation fails.

Notes for using the product

After installation is complete, you can use Link ME to install Zigbee products using the app.
