Product Overview

The VAXMYRA is an LED spotlight designed by IKEA for indoor use, providing efficient and discreet lighting solutions for cabinets, shelves, and other interior spaces.

For indoor use only.
Regularly check the cord, transformer, and all other parts for damage. Do not use if any part is damaged.
The external flexible cable or cord cannot be replaced. If damaged, the luminaire must be destroyed.
The light source shall only be replaced by the manufacturer, his service agent, or a similar qualified person.
Crucially, only use a safety transformer with a SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage) output as a supply for this product.

Installation Guide

Follow these steps to install your VAXMYRA LED spotlight:

Step 1: Prepare Mounting Location

Mark the desired location for the spotlight on the surface (e.g., cabinet shelf). Use a template or measurements as indicated in the diagrams. Drill a hole of approximately Ø 8 mm (5/16") at the marked location using a drill. ℹ️ Note: Some diagrams may show different hole sizes (e.g., Ø 63 mm) which might apply to different installation types or product variants.

Step 2: Install Mounting Bracket/Base

Insert the provided mounting bracket or base into the drilled hole. The bracket is designed to secure itself within the hole, often with clips.

Step 3: Connect Wiring

Feed the spotlight's power cord through the hole in the mounting bracket. Connect the spotlight's wiring to the power supply system. This typically involves connecting to an LED driver, which then connects to the required SELV transformer. Ensure connections are secure and make a "Click!" sound when properly engaged.

Step 4: Mount the Spotlight Fixture

Attach the VAXMYRA spotlight fixture to the mounting bracket or base. It is designed to click into place securely.

Step 5: Secure and Attach Covers

In some installations, screws (part number 108553) may be used to further secure the mounting plate or the spotlight fixture. Attach any decorative rings or covers to complete the look.

Step 6: Connect to Power

Connect the LED driver to the SELV safety transformer. It is critical to use only the specified SELV transformer as the power source for this product.
