Safety in Aircraft

Switch off your wireless device when instructed by airport or airline staff. Consult airline staff regarding the use of 'flight mode' or similar features during flight.

Safety in Hospitals

Wireless devices transmit radio frequency energy and may affect medical electrical equipment. Switch off wireless devices in hospitals, clinics, or healthcare facilities as requested to prevent interference with sensitive medical equipment.

Pacemakers

Pacemaker manufacturers recommend maintaining a minimum of 15 cm (6 inches) between a handheld wireless device and a pacemaker to avoid potential interference. These recommendations are consistent with independent research.

Persons with Pacemakers:

Other Medical Devices

Consult your physician or the medical device manufacturer to determine if your wireless product may interfere with the medical device.

Battery Information

Caution: Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Dispose of batteries according to instructions.

Use only Zebra approved batteries. Approved battery models for charging capability:

Zebra approved rechargeable battery packs are designed to high industry standards. However, battery life is limited by factors like heat, cold, harsh conditions, and drops.

Storing batteries for over six months may cause irreversible deterioration. Store batteries at half charge in a dry, cool place, removed from equipment, to prevent capacity loss, rusting, and electrolyte leakage. For storage over one year, verify charge level annually and recharge to half capacity.

Replace the battery when significant run time loss is detected.

Standard warranty for all Zebra batteries is one year. For more information on Zebra batteries, visit: www.zebra.com/batterybasics.

Battery Safety Guidelines

Ensure the charging area is clear of debris, combustible materials, or chemicals. Exercise particular care when charging in non-commercial environments.
