The Thule RideAlong Lite 2 is a rear-mounted child bike seat designed for safe and comfortable transport of children.

Compatibility:

• Suitable for children aged 9 months to 6 years.
• Weight limit: 9-22 kg (20-40 lbs).
• Maximum child height: 110 cm (43.3 inches).
• Seat Tube Shape: Compatible with circular seat tubes with a diameter of Ø 28-40 mm (1.10-1.57 inches) or oval seat tubes up to 40 mm (1.57 inches) in width. Not compatible with triangular or square seat tubes.
• Compatible with carbon fiber bike frames.

Installation Guide

Follow these steps carefully to install the Thule RideAlong Lite 2 seat.

Step 1: Attach the Mounting Bracket

Secure the mounting bracket to the bicycle's seat tube using the provided screws. Ensure the bracket is oriented correctly as shown in the diagrams.

• Diagram shows the mounting bracket components being assembled and then attached to the bicycle's seat tube.
• Screws (M6x44 or M6x58) are used for attachment.
• A torque of 8 Nm is recommended for tightening the screws (x4).

Step 2: Assemble the Seat Unit

Connect the main seat shell and the harness system. Ensure all clips and buckles are properly aligned.

Step 3: Mount the Seat to the Bracket

Align the seat unit with the mounted bracket on the bicycle and push down until it clicks securely into place.

Step 4: Adjust Seat Position

Adjust the seat's position on the bracket for optimal comfort and balance. Slide the seat forward or backward as needed and re-tighten any securing screws.

Step 5: Secure the Child

Place the child in the seat and fasten the harness. Adjust the straps to ensure a snug and secure fit.

Step 6: Adjust Footrests

Adjust the height of the footrests to accommodate the child's leg length.

Perform a thorough visual check of all components and connections. Ensure the seat is firmly attached to the bicycle and the harness is properly secured.

• Always ensure the child is securely fastened before riding.

Care and Storage

• Clean the seat with mild soap and water. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
