1 Initial Wi-Fi Configuration

This section guides you through connecting your Ariston Velis device to your home Wi-Fi network.

Step 1: Download the App

Download the free Velis Ariston NET App from the Apple App Store ? [App Store] or Google Play ▶️ [Google Play].

Step 2: Activate Wi-Fi on Velis

Press the ? [Wi-Fi Button] on the Velis HMI (Human-Machine Interface) to activate Wi-Fi.

Step 3: Create Access Point

Press and hold the ? [Wi-Fi Button] again for 5 seconds on the Velis HMI. This creates the Velis Access Point (? [Access Point]).

Step 4: Connect Smartphone

On your smartphone, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the network named "Remote_GW_Thermo".

Step 5: Configure Wi-Fi via App

Launch the Velis Ariston NET App and follow the on-screen wizard to configure your domestic Wi-Fi connection. The connection is successful when the "AP" icon disappears from the Velis display and the ? [Wi-Fi Icon] appears, with the Wi-Fi indicator lamp remaining lit.

2 Account Registration

This section explains how to register your account to manage your Velis device remotely.

Step 1: Sign Up in the App

In the Ariston App, tap the "SIGN UP" button. Fill in the required fields: Username (Email), Password, and Confirm Password.

Step 2: Activate User Account

Check your email inbox for a confirmation email from Ariston. Click the provided link ? [Link] within the email to activate your user account.

3 Velis and User Link

This section details how to link your Velis device to your registered user account.

Step 1: Log In and Associate Velis

Log in to the Ariston App. You will be prompted to associate a new Velis device with your account. Ensure your Velis is connected to Wi-Fi.

Step 2: Enter Device Information

Enter the required information for your Velis, such as a Nickname, Country, and City.

Step 3: Provide Serial Number

Enter the Velis serial number. This can be found on a label on the top of the product or in the Wi-Fi configuration step.

Step 4: Accept Terms and Complete

Read and accept the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. You may also need to agree to personal data processing for marketing. Once complete, the connection will be created, indicated by a confirmation message like "Have a good shower!".
