1. Important Information

If the product is already assembled, ensure all screws are securely fastened before use. If the product requires assembly, check that all necessary installation elements are provided upon opening the package. If the product is damaged or defective, do not use it and return it to the nearest store.

2. Installation

We recommend using the product packaging as a mounting surface to avoid damage (scratches, paint chips, dirt...). Before completing assembly, we advise not to overtighten screws and to leave some play for each element. Once assembly is finished, ensure all screws are tightened properly. This product must be placed on a stable surface. Two adults are required for assembly.

3. Usage Recommendations

This product is intended for domestic and non-professional outdoor use. Do not use the product if you have any doubts about its suitability for use. Do not hang from the structure. Keep the product away from flames and direct heat sources such as outdoor heaters and barbecues.

ATTENTION: DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT IN CASE OF HEAVY RAIN, STRONG WIND, OR THUNDERSTORMS, AS USER SAFETY IS NO LONGER GUARANTEED.

Assembly Steps:

• Step 1: Unpack components and identify parts.
• Step 2: Assemble the base structure.
• Step 3: Secure the base to a stable surface, such as a table.
• Step 4: Insert the main pole into the base mechanism.
• Step 5: Attach the umbrella canopy to the pole and raise it.
• Step 6: Close-up view of the mechanism for adjusting the umbrella's angle or height.
• Steps 7-12: Illustrate the process of opening, closing, tilting, and securing the umbrella canopy.
• Steps 13-14: Detail the operation of the crank mechanism for opening and closing the umbrella.

Usage and Safety Icons:

• Cleaning: Icons depict washing the product, avoiding bleach, avoiding tumble drying, and avoiding ironing.
• Usage: Icons show two people lifting the product, a person operating the umbrella, and a warning symbol ⚠️ for adverse weather conditions (heavy rain, strong wind, thunderstorms).

4. Care and Maintenance

Regular maintenance of your product is recommended.

Cleaning:

• If using a cleaning product, apply it with a non-abrasive sponge with mild soap and hot water.
• Follow the instructions provided with cleaning products and check compatibility.
• If the product has a fabric element, follow the care instructions on its label.

Fastenings:

• For parasols, ensure the pole is fixed to the base.
• For pergolas and gazebos, follow the instructions in this manual.
• For better stability and safety, retighten screws about two weeks after assembly.
• Retighten screws at least once a year for long-lasting maintenance.

Wintering:

• If the product is not used for an extended period or in case of adverse weather, store the canopy in a dry, humidity-free place (e.g., garden shed or under a roof) after cleaning and drying.
• For parasols, a suitable cover can also be used.

5. Protecting the Environment

Please remember to take packaging and end-of-life products to a waste disposal facility.

6. Warranty

NATERIAL products are designed to the highest quality standards for consumer market products. The sales warranty covers a period of 2 years from the date of purchase. The warranty covers manufacturing defects: missing parts and elements, and damage occurring under normal use circumstances. Repairs and replacement of parts do not extend the initial warranty period.

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover problems or incidents resulting from incorrect product use. The product warranty is limited to the product's value. The following cases are particularly excluded:

• Damage occurring during installation.
• Fading colors or stains resulting from non-compliance with maintenance instructions.
• Traces of cutters and staples upon opening the packaging, as well as marks resulting from contact between the table surface and the floor.

Fabric color is guaranteed for 1 year; after this period, the color may fade.

If you have a problem with your product, please contact your store's garden department manager. Keep your invoice or receipt: these documents will be requested for claim processing.
