1. Safety Attention and General Information

NOTICE: Please charge for 4 hours first when you receive the walkie talkies.

Step 1: Pry the elastic buckle out.

Step 2: Push the belt clip upward.

The LCD screen displays a battery indication. When the full capacity symbol [?] turns into empty capacity [?], the walkie talkie will beep periodically after releasing the PTT button. To prevent automatic shutdown or abnormal use, please charge the walkie talkie using the provided USB Type-C charging cable. Charging typically takes 3-4 hours.

4.1 Power on/off

4.2 Adjust the Volume

Press the Up button [⬆️] to increase the volume and the Down button [⬇️] to decrease the volume. There are 16 volume levels available, indicated on the screen. Press the PTT button [?️] to confirm the setting.

4.3 Channel Settings

To ensure normal performance, make sure the main channels and interference eliminator codes of all walkie talkies are the same.

Press the Menu button [☰] for the first time to set the main channel. Use the Up [⬆️] or Down [⬇️] button to select the desired channel and confirm with the PTT button [?️].

Press the Menu button [☰] again to set the interference eliminator codes. There are 121 interference eliminator codes. Use the Up [⬆️] or Down [⬇️] button to choose the required code and press the PTT button [?️] on the left side to confirm.

4.4 Ringtone Settings

In a power-on state, press the Menu button [☰] for the third time to set the ringtone. The LCD screen will display a 'CA' symbol and the ringtone code will flash. There are 10 different ringtones available. Use the Up [⬆️] or Down [⬇️] button to choose the desired ringtone and save the settings by pressing the PTT button [?️].

4.5 Sensitivity Settings

Proper sensitivity helps minimize unintended noises during conversation. In a power-on state, press the Menu button [☰] for the fourth time to adjust the sensitivity.

When the LCD screen displays a [?] symbol, press the Up [⬆️] or Down [⬇️] button to select the desired level and save the settings by pressing the PTT button [?️].

4.6 Squelch Settings

In a power-on state, press the Menu button [☰] for the fifth time to set the squelch level. When the LCD screen displays an 'SL' symbol, press the Up [⬆️] or Down [⬇️] button to choose the desired level and save the settings by pressing the PTT button [?️].

4.7 TX Power Settings

In a power-on state, press the Menu button [☰] for the sixth time to set the transmission power level. When the LCD screen displays a 'PR' symbol, press the Up [⬆️] or Down [⬇️] button to set it as 'LO' (Low) or 'HI' (High) and confirm the settings with the PTT button [?️].

TX PR indicates the transmission power setting. High transmission power provides maximum output and farthest transmission distance but consumes more battery. Low transmission power conserves battery and is suitable for close-range communication.

5. Auxiliary Functions

5.1 Timeout Timer

To prevent accidental transmission and save battery life, the walkie talkie emits a continuous warning tone if the PTT button is held for talking over 60 seconds.

5.2 Keypad Lock

To avoid accidentally changing settings, press and hold the Menu/Lock button [☰?] for 3 seconds or until the [?] symbol displays on the screen. In the keypad locking state, you can still turn on/off the device, transmit or receive signals, send a ringtone, or scan channels.

To unlock the keypad, press and hold the Menu/Lock button [☰?] again for 3 seconds until the [?] symbol disappears.

5.3 Scanning/Monitoring

This function allows monitoring of transmission channels or finding group members who have accidentally changed channels. Simply press the Power/Scan button [▶️] to scan channels; the [?] symbol will display on the screen. The device will automatically stop scanning and play transmission voice when it detects available channel signals. To respond, press the PTT button [?️] within 5 seconds.

5.4 VOX Mode

In the off state, press the PTT button [?️] and Power button [▶️] simultaneously until the [?] symbol appears on the screen. The device enters VOX mode.

Speak into the microphone, and the device will automatically transmit your voice with a short delay. To turn off the VOX function, simply short press the PTT button [?️].

5.5 Factory Reset

Turn off the walkie talkies. Press and hold the 'MENU' [☰] and 'Power' [▶️] buttons. The device will reset to factory default settings.

6. Troubleshooting

1. How to ensure that all walkie talkies can communicate smoothly?

If the surrounding buildings are dense or there is significant electromagnetic radiation interference, it may affect communication. Change to another location for better performance.
