About This Manual
This manual uses diagrams of actual screens to describe basic operations. However, screens on some units may not match those shown in this manual depending on the model used.
Basic Operations
Touch & Swipe
- Touch: Press to select an item.
- Hold and Touch: Press and hold for specific functions.
- Swipe: Slide your finger across the screen for navigation.
Adjusting Time & Date
Select the source, then adjust the time and date settings.
Selecting a Source
Select the desired source from the available options. Some hidden sources may be displayed.
Moving Images
- Pause/Play: Start or pause playback.
- Change Playback Point: Move to a different point in the current track.
- Select Next/Previous File: Move to the next or previous audio/video file.
- Fast Forward/Fast Reverse: (USB only) Quickly advance or rewind through a file.
- Display Menu: Show the playback menu.
List Search Operation
- Display Playlist: Show the list of playable media files.
- Select Media File Types: Choose the type of media you want to play.
- Select Folder/Title: Choose a specific folder or title from the list to play.
- Scroll List: Navigate through the list of available items.
Power and Display Control
- Press to turn off display: Briefly press the power button to turn off the screen.
- Press and hold to power off: Press and hold the power button to turn off the unit.
- Press to display top menu: Access the main menu.
- Press and hold to mute/unmute: Temporarily silence the audio output.
Controls:
- (+/-) VOL: Adjusts the volume.
- USB Port: Connect USB devices here.
- Disc Eject: Ejects the inserted disc.
- Disc Loading Slot: Insert discs here.
Tuner Operation
- Select Band: Choose the desired radio band (FM/AM).
- Tune to Next Station: Automatically search for the next receivable station.
- Store Broadcast Frequency: Save the current station frequency to a preset.
- Recall Preset Channel: Recall a stored station using a preset key.
- Switch to Display/Hide Station Name: Toggle the display of the radio station name.
- Switch to Receive Radio Stations Only: (Long/short range) Limit reception to stations with sufficiently strong signals.
- Start Seek Tuning: Initiate an automatic search for strong stations.
Audio Operation
- Pause/Play: Start or pause audio playback.
- Select Next/Previous File: Move to the next or previous audio file.
- Fast Forward/Fast Reverse: Quickly advance or rewind through the audio file.
- Set Function for Audio Playback: Configure audio playback settings.
Bluetooth Phone Operation
- Make an Outgoing Call: Dial a number directly or select from call history/phonebook.
- Enter Phone Number Directly: Manually input a phone number.
- Switch to Phonebook Mode: Access your phone's contact list.
- Switch to Call History List: View your recent calls.
- Pairing: Perform the pairing operation between the unit and your mobile device. Select the unit's name as shown on your mobile device's display.

Get the most out of your equipment by playing it at a safe level—a level that lets the sound come through clearly without annoying blaring or distortion, and most importantly, without affecting your hearing. Your hearing "comfort level" adapts to higher volumes of sound, so what sounds "normal" can actually be loud and harmful to your hearing. Guard against this by setting your equipment at a safe level, a level that allows you to hear clearly and comfortably, BEFORE your hearing adapts.
ESTABLISH A SAFE LEVEL
- Set your volume control to a low setting.
- Slowly increase the sound until you can hear it clearly and comfortably, without distortion.
- Once you have established a comfortable sound level, set the dial and leave it there.
OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES
- Do not turn up the volume so high that you cannot hear what is going on around you.
- Use caution or temporarily discontinue its use in potentially hazardous situations.
- Do not use headphones or earphones while operating a motorized vehicle; such use is illegal in many areas and may create a traffic hazard.
