Basic Operation
Front Panel Description
The front panel of the transceiver typically includes the following components:
- Display: Shows operational status, channel information, and messages.
- Illumination Sensor: Adjusts display brightness based on ambient light.
- Status Indicator: Visual indicator for transmit, receive, or other operational states.
- Speaker: Outputs audio for received signals and alerts.
- Operation Buttons: Programmable buttons for various functions.
- Microphone: Input for voice transmission.
- PTT (Push-to-Talk) Switch: Located on the microphone; press to transmit, release to receive.
Power Switching
Press the power button [Power Symbol] to switch the transceiver ON. Press the power button [Power Symbol] again to switch it OFF.
Adjusting the Volume
Press the button programmed as [Volume Up] to increase the volume. Press the button programmed as [Volume Down] to decrease the volume.
Selecting a Zone and Channel
Use the buttons programmed as [Zone Up]/[Zone Down] and [Channel Up]/[Channel Down] to select the desired zone and channel.
Transmitting
- Select the desired zone and channel.
- Press and hold the PTT switch on the microphone. Speak into the microphone.
- Release the PTT switch to receive.
For optimal sound quality, hold the microphone approximately 3-4 cm (1.5 inches) from your mouth.
Receiving
Select the desired zone and channel. If signaling is programmed for the selected channel, you will hear a call only when the received signal matches your transceiver's settings.

This transceiver utilizes software governed by specific license agreements, including zlib, libpng, and Md5 licenses. These licenses grant permission for use, modification, and redistribution under specified terms, ensuring proper attribution and preventing misrepresentation of the original software.
