Product description Intended use The Nedis WIFICOL10CBK is an IP security camera with a viewing angle of 130 degrees. If the security camera detects movement or sound, you will receive a warning message on your phone. With the app you can watch live video images, play back, but also listen in and talk back. Installation Check thUesecr moanntueanl ts of the package EN Check that all parts are present and that no damage is visible on the parts. If parts are missing or damaged, contact the Nedis B.V. service desk via the website: www.nedis.com. Installing the Nedis SmartLife app 1. Download the Nedis Smartlife app for Android or iOS on your phone via Google Play or the Apple App Store. 2. Open the Nedis Smartlife app on your phone. 3. Create an account with your e-mail address and tap Continue. 4. Enter the received verification code. 5. Create a password and tap Done. 6. Tap Add Home to create a SmartLife Home. 7. Set your location, choose the rooms you want to connect with and tap Done. Connecting the product 4 Use an SD card with a minimum of 8 GB and a maximum of 128 GB. 4 Connect the product with the Nedis Smartlife app before mounting it in the preferred spot. 1. Insert the new SD card into the SD card slot A6. 2. Plug the power cable Aq into a power outlet. The product switches on automatically. 3. Open the Nedis Smartlife app on your phone. 4. Tap + in the Nedis SmartLife app. 5. Select the device type you want to add from the list. 6. Confirm the status indicator LED A2 is blinking. 7. Enter the Wi-Fi network data and tap Confirm. 8. Tap Continue and a QR-code will appear. 9. Hold your phone with a 15 20 cm distance in front of the camera. 10. If the camera has detected the QR-code, you will hear a sound. 11. Tap to confirm you heard the sound. 12. Give the camera a name and tap Done. The status indicator LED A2 will turn blue. The product is now ready for use. 13. Unplug the power cable Aq. 14. Install the camera in the preferred spot following the next steps. Important instructions to reduce false alarms · Do not place the camera facing the sun or any objects with bright lights. · The ideUalsveiremwianngudailstance is 2 - 10 meters. EN · Stay away from air outlets, including air conditioner and heat transfer vents, etc. · Do not place the camera facing a mirror or highly reflective object. · Keep the camera at least 1 meter away from any wireless devices, including Wi-Fi routers and phones, in order to avoid wireless interference. Installing/Mounting the product (image C & D) C User manual EN D 1. Place the bracket A9 in the desired location. Follow steps 2-4 for stone/concrete surfaces. Continue to step 5 for wood surfaces. 2. Use the bracket A9 to mark the drill locations with a pencil. 3. Drill two holes based on the size of the plugs Ae. 4. Insert the plugs into the holes. 5. Fasten the bracket A9 with the screws Aw. 6. Click the camera A3 into the bracket A9. 7. Plug the power cable Aq into a power outlet. 8. Fasten the power cable to prevent it from moving in the wind. 4 Keep the product in a dust free area when drilling. 4 Do not overtighten the screws, this will deform the bracket. Use The start screen of the Nedis SmartLife app After making a successful connection with the security camera, the Nedis SmartLife app displays an overview of the products that are connected. Select the desired product in the overview. Making vUisderemoanrueacl ordings and screenshots EN You can make video recordings and screenshots on your phone, by tapping Record B4 and Screenshot B1. Video playback Photo and video recordings are stored on your phone's memory. 1. Open the Gallery on Android, or Photos on iOS. You will see an overview of photo and video recordings. 2. Open a photo or video recording to view or play it back. Motion detected videos playback Motion detected videos are automatically saved on the SD card. (If inserted in the camera). 1. Tap Playback B2 to open the stored videos. 2. Tap a video file to play it back. Adjusting the motion detecting distance Tap PIR B3 to enable, disable or change the Motion Detection sensitivity. 4Use the slider to set the Motion Detection sensitivity between 0-10 m. The Motion Detection sensitivity is an indication and can be affected by external factors such as light. Night Mode Tap Night Mode B5 to change the night mode settings. Light Tap Light B6 to change the light settings. Maintenance Before cleaning and maintenance, switch off the product and disconnect the power. Clean the product regularly with a soft, clean, dry cloth. Avoid abrasives that can damage the surface.
