- 8x 15 x 15 x 0.5mm thermal pads
- 2x 30 x 30 x 2mm thermal pads
- 8x 15 x 15 x 2mm thermal pads

Safety Instructions
Important: Read the safety instructions before starting the installation.
- Not suitable for children under 6 years (contains small parts).
- Do not operate cooling components without coolant flow. Coolers operated without coolant can become very hot (Burn Hazard!).
- Coolers without coolant flow can destroy computer hardware. Always ensure the pump is functioning when powering on the hardware.
- Do not use tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches) on plastic or metal threaded connections linked with plastic parts, as they can be easily overloaded, leading to cracks or damage. Such damage, as well as damage from leaking coolant, is not covered under warranty.
- Use only connectors with a sealing o-ring. Hand-tightening is sufficient. Tools are only to be used in exceptional cases as indicated in the manual.
- Check your hardware and cooling system (tightness, pump function, fans) before proceeding.
- Do not overtighten screws, as this can loosen knurled nuts and compromise uniform cooler pressure.
- Connectors with 8mm long threads may restrict flow.
- Perform a tightness test before assembly/installation. Water pressure in the loop should not exceed 0.8 bar.
- Ensure the cooler touches all components to be cooled via thermal grease and pads.
- Use only distilled water or Alphacool Cape Kelvin Catcher in your cooling circuit. Damage from unsuitable coolant is not covered by warranty.
Warranty Information:
- Alphacool International GmbH cooling components are approved for cooling computer parts. Warranty is void in case of misuse.
- Data in brochures, catalogs, etc., are for informative purposes only.
- Warranty claims require the original invoice, sales slip, or Alphacool confirmation.
- Alphacool International GmbH has the discretion to repair or replace defective products.
- Warranty claims are handled by Alphacool International GmbH or authorized dealers. Unauthorized repairs void warranty.
- Costs from refitting products are not covered.
- Warranty excludes regular maintenance, wear and tear, improper manipulation, incorrect installation, damages from external factors (storm, water, fire, overvoltage, acts of God, war, incorrect power connection, insufficient ventilation), and damages from transportation or improper packaging.
- Consumer rights in their respective country are valid. Alphacool International GmbH is not responsible for direct or indirect damages unless legally mandated.
- Alphacool International GmbH does not assume the manufacturer's warranty for electronic components. Assembly is at your own risk.
Disposal: Contact an authorized waste management company. Disposal with municipal waste is not permissible.
Installation Steps
Step 1: Preparation
Place the hardware on an antistatic mat. Begin dismantling the original cooler by removing screws and carefully unhooking the fan connector. If the original cooler uses thermal glue, exercise extreme care to avoid damaging components. Clean the hardware of thermal paste or pad residues using a solvent like alcohol.
Step 2: Thermal Pad Placement
Remove the protective film from the cooler base. Clean the contact surfaces on the bottom of the cooler with alcohol. Remove the protective film from the 15mm x 15mm x 0.5mm thermal pads and place them in the indicated pink areas. The 30mm x 30mm x 0.5mm thermal pad is for the voltage converters and may need to be trimmed. Remember to remove the protective film from both sides of all pads.
Step 3: Thermal Paste Application
Using a plastic strip or similar tool, spread a thin layer of thermal paste on the GPU. The layer should be less than a millimeter thick to prevent contamination of surrounding components.
Step 4: Mounting the Cooler Base
Place the graphics card onto the cooler base as shown in the picture. Secure the graphics card with 2 M3x5 screws and M3 washers as illustrated.
Step 5: Thermal Pad Placement (Continued)
Remove the protective film from the 15mm x 15mm x 2mm thermal pads and place them in the indicated orange areas. Place one 30mm x 30mm x 2mm pad on the back of the GPU. Trim the remaining orange pads as needed and place them as shown. Ensure protective films are removed from both sides.
Step 6: Installing the Backplate and Final Tightening
Position the backplate onto the graphics card as shown in the image and screw the cooler together. Hand-tighten the 8 M3x11 screws crosswise, turning each screw one turn at a time.
Step 7: Retightening Screws
After approximately 12 hours of use, retighten all screws.
Cutting Patterns
Refer to the diagrams for precise cutting patterns for thermal pads:
- 30 x 30 x 0.5mm thermal pad
- 30 x 30 x 2mm thermal pad
Diagrams show placement and dimensions for thermal pads, indicating areas for 15mm x 15mm pads and larger pads that may require cutting.
