How to Use the Product
Turn on/off the product:
To turn on the product, press and hold the master power button for approximately 2 seconds. The LED indicator light and the display screen will illuminate. To turn off the product, press and hold the master power button for approximately 2 seconds. The display screen and the LED indicator light will turn off.
AC/DC Output:
Note: Ensure the product is turned on before attempting to activate AC/DC output.
- To turn on AC/DC output: Press and hold the AC/DC power button. The corresponding LED indicator light will illuminate, and the display screen will show "AC ON" / "DC ON".
- To turn off AC/DC output: Press and hold the AC/DC power button. The LED indicator light will turn off, and the display screen will show "AC OFF" / "DC OFF".
PV Charge Activation:
Turn off the generator, connect a PV (or charger) for charging, and activate the PV charge function. The first column on the screen will light up and show the input power. At this time, the generator is in charging state and cannot support AC and DC functions. To enable AC and DC functions, press and hold the master power button for more than 1 second to turn on the generator. The screen will light up after the generator is turned on. After startup, connect the PV (or charger) to start charging. The screen will show the input power wattage, and at this time, the AC and DC functions can be enabled.
Notice:
- If the Master Power Button is not turned on, the AC button and DC button are in an off status, meaning no AC output and no DC output.
- If the Master Power Button is turned on, but the AC button and DC button are still in an off status, there is no AC output and no DC output. You need to turn on the AC power button and DC power button separately.
How to Charge the Product
Charge with Solar Power:
To charge the product, insert the solar charging cable or AC adapter into the input port of the product. The display screen will light up and show the charging power. Do not be concerned if the display seems incorrect. The product will not turn on by itself while being charged. If the product was previously turned off, it will remain off unless you manually turn it on.
Charge with AC Power:
Insert one end of the adapter into a wall outlet and the other end into the product's input port. The product will then be charged, and you can monitor the battery status by checking the battery icon on the LCD screen. The product comes with a built-in advanced control circuit. When the battery is fully charged, it will stop charging itself automatically.
Cold Weather Operation
Cold weather can affect battery capacity. In sub-zero temperatures (<0°C), you may be able to discharge the product, but you should not charge it. Otherwise, the battery of the product could be greatly damaged, and its capacity may not be recoverable.
Low temperature charging protection: When the product is charged at a temperature below 0°C, it will shut off and stop charging automatically. The product will reboot and start charging itself when the temperature rises above 10°C.
Low temperature discharging protection: If the product is discharged at a temperature of -20°C, it will turn off. The product will reboot and turn on output when the temperature rises above -10°C.
FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
Q1: How to check charging status?
The battery icon indicates the battery level of this product. The battery level is displayed in 5 segments. When the battery is being charged, the icon will flash. When the battery is fully charged, the icon will stop flashing, and all 5 segments will be filled.
Q2: Can this product be used to charge my electronic devices?
You need to check the power rating at each output port. For example, the power at the AC output port is provided by the built-in inverter of the product, whose maximum continuous output power is 1000W. This means that it is only suitable for electronic devices whose required power is no more than 1000W.
Intelligent Cooling Control
The cooling fan will start working automatically when the following conditions are met:
- The load of the inverter exceeds 400W.
- The load of the 12V cigarette lighter socket exceeds 80W.
- The charging power of attached appliances exceeds 100W.
Besides, the generator's intelligent system will adjust the PV input or AC output power based on the outer case temperature to keep the outer case at a touchable temperature. Note: Do not use the machine when the cooling fan is broken.
Frequency Setting
When the product is powered on, turn on the DC output and keep the AC output turned off. Press and hold both the DC button & AC button for 1 second to enter setting mode. Press the AC power button to choose the inverter AC output frequency. Press and hold both the DC and AC power buttons to exit frequency setting mode. Restart the machine.
