Usage Precautions

When the filter replacement indicator lamp lights up, replace the filter. If you do not replace the filter, not only will the dust collection effect be reduced, but it may also cause product malfunction. The replacement interval varies depending on usage frequency. Please refer to the "Filter Replacement" section for details.

Use genuine Blueair accessories and filters. Using non-genuine accessories or filters may cause product malfunction. Malfunctions caused by using accessories or filters other than genuine ones are not covered by the warranty.

Do not wash the filter with water. This will reduce the dust collection effect.

Do not use the product in direct sunlight. This may cause discoloration.

Do not operate the unit with the filter removed or with the protective film still attached. This will reduce the dust collection effect and may cause product malfunction.

Do not place the unit near heat-generating appliances (heaters, etc.) or hot objects. This may cause discoloration.

Keep windows and doors closed while the unit is in operation.

Part Names

Air Quality Status (PM2.5)

The air purifier is equipped with a particle sensor to measure the fine particle (PM2.5) level. The LED indicator shows the air quality in 5 colors, from clean (blue) to polluted (red).

Air Quality Levels: Excellent, Good, Moderate, Polluted, Very Polluted

Two Operation Buttons

Press the On/Off button to turn the air purifier on. Use the Fan Speed button to adjust the mode or fan speed. This air purifier has a total of 4 fan speeds, with Night Mode being the lowest and quietest speed, and Speed 3 being the highest speed.

Auto Mode: Adjusts airflow automatically based on the indoor air quality level.

Night Mode: The fan operates at the lowest speed, and the LED dims.

Fan Speed 1, 2, 3: Press the Fan Speed button on the control panel to manually set the fan speed.

How to Use the Control Panel

Changing Brightness

Press and hold the Fan Speed button and the On/Off button simultaneously for 3 seconds.

Next, press and hold the On/Off button with one finger while tapping the Fan Speed button with the other to adjust the brightness. If the brightness is at the minimum level, it will increase by one level. If it is at the maximum level, it will decrease by one level.

Wi-Fi LED On/Off

When the unit is first powered on, the Wi-Fi LED will blink, indicating that it is ready for device pairing. When the unit is successfully connected to the app, the Wi-Fi LED will remain lit.

If you do not connect the unit to Wi-Fi, you can turn off the Wi-Fi LED. Press and hold the Fan Speed button for approximately 5 seconds, then release it. The Wi-Fi LED will stop blinking.

Child Lock Activation/Deactivation

Press and hold the On/Off button for about 5 seconds (until all LEDs on the control panel light up and flash once). Then release the button.

When the child lock is active, the air purifier will continue to operate, but the speed/mode buttons will be locked.

Filter Reset

After replacing the filter, you need to manually reset the filter replacement indicator. To reset, press and hold the Fan Speed button for 15 seconds (until all LEDs on the control panel flash twice), then release the button.

When the filter is replaced correctly, the red filter replacement indicator lamp will flash 3 times and then turn off.

Factory Reset

Press and hold the On/Off button for 15 seconds (until all LEDs on the control panel light up for the second time and flash 4 times). Then release the button.

When the factory reset is performed, the air purifier will restart with default settings and enter standby mode.

Connecting to the Blueair App

By connecting to the Blueair app, you can remotely control the air purifier and monitor filter usage. The app provides additional features for your air purifier.

Step 1

Download the Blueair app from the App Store or Google Play.

Step 2

Open the app. Create a Blueair account or sign in to your account.

Step 3

Click "Connect Product" and select "Blue". Follow the instructions to complete the app pairing.

Initial Connection Tips

Always turn on the air purifier. When the Wi-Fi indicator blinks, it is ready for pairing with the app.

Please use the Wi-Fi network that is not hidden. For Blueair app usage, you need to disable VPN (Virtual Private Network).

Initial Pairing: Bluetooth is required for initial pairing. Turn on your smartphone's Bluetooth, bring your smartphone within approximately 91 cm (3 feet) of the air purifier, and perform the initial pairing.

This air purifier can only connect to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. If you have a dual-band Wi-Fi router, be sure to select 2.4GHz.

To maintain a stable connection, place the air purifier within approximately 4.5 meters (15 feet) of your Wi-Fi router.

Maintenance

Important! Before maintenance, turn off the air purifier and unplug it from the power outlet.

Filter Replacement

When the filter replacement indicator lamp turns red, replace the main filter. Replacement is recommended approximately every 6 to 9 months, depending on usage and air quality conditions.

Step 1

Turn off the air purifier and unplug the power cord. Rotate the top part counterclockwise to unlock, then lift it off.

Step 2

Remove the pre-filter and noise shield.

Step 3

Grasp the filter handle and remove the old filter, then replace it with a new one. Make sure to remove the plastic packaging from the new filter before inserting it.

Step 4

Place the noise shield back onto the filter. Lift the pre-filter to cover the main filter and noise shield (ensure the leather tag is on the top of the pre-filter).

Step 5

Twist the top part back into place and plug the air purifier into the power outlet.

Step 6

Important! Turn the air purifier back on, then press and hold the Fan Speed button for 15 seconds to reset the filter replacement indicator lamp (until all LEDs on the control panel flash twice). Then release the button.

Pre-filter Maintenance

The pre-filter collects dust and requires regular cleaning. You can clean it with a vacuum cleaner's soft brush attachment, or remove the pre-filter and wash it in a washing machine. If washing, follow the instructions on the label.

Step 1

Turn off the air purifier and unplug the power cord. Rotate the top part counterclockwise to unlock, then lift it off.

Step 2

Remove the pre-filter from the noise shield and main filter.

Step 3

Wash the pre-filter according to the instructions on the label.

Step 4

Place the cleaned pre-filter back onto the noise shield and main filter.

Step 5

Ensure the pre-filter's leather tab is facing upwards.

Step 6

Push the top part of the unit down and rotate it clockwise to lock it.

When Disposing of the Unit

This air purifier must be disposed of correctly according to the home appliance recycling law. When disposing of it, follow the instructions of your local government.

Cannot connect to the air purifier.The air purifier is too far from your smartphone and router during setup.1. Open the Blueair app. 2. Select the air purifier and go to [Product Settings]. 3. Remove the air purifier. 4. Return to the home screen, select [Connect Product], and follow the connection steps.
There may be a temporary Wi-Fi communication error, or the Wi-Fi settings may have changed.If automatic reconnection does not occur within a few minutes, try the following: 1. Unplug the power cord from the outlet and wait for about 30 seconds. 2. Check that there are no objects or dust around the air quality sensor on the back of the unit. 3. Plug the power cord back in. 4. Press the power button. If the air quality does not improve even after using the air purifier and ventilating, please contact us.
Blueair app may not be up to date.Check the App Store for the latest version of the Blueair app.
The router is not powered on, not connected, or not in normal connection status.Check the following: 1. Is the internet currently working? 2. Are you using a 2.4GHz network? 3. Is VPN disabled?
Bluetooth is disabled.Ensure Bluetooth is enabled in your smartphone's settings.
Indoor air quality is not improving.The indoor air is very polluted, or the sensor may be dirty, displaying incorrect air quality.1. Unplug the power cord from the outlet and wait for about 30 seconds. 2. Check that there are no objects or dust around the air quality sensor on the back of the unit. 3. Plug the power cord back in. 4. Press the power button. If the air quality does not improve even after using the air purifier and ventilating, please contact us.
