This awesome phone includes 6 exciting activities and features that help test your skills with problem solving, simple equations, shapes, memory and more. You can also receive fun virtual voice messages from Chase and Skye and use voice-activated play to make pretend phone calls!

NOTE: Please save this Instruction Manual as it contains important information. Unlock the Packaging Locks:
Turn the packaging locks several times anticlockwise. Pull out and discard the packaging locks.

INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING:
Adult assembly required for battery installation. Keep batteries out of reach of children.
BATTERY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF. 2. Locate the battery cover on the back
of the unit. Use a screwdriver to loosen the screw and then open the battery cover. 3. If used batteries are present, remove these batteries from the unit by pulling up on one end of each battery. 4. Install 2 new AA (AM-3/LR6) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box. (For best performance, alkaline batteries or fully charged Ni-MH rechargeable batteries are recommended.) 5. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure.

IMPORTANT: BATTERY INFORMATION
· Insert batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -). · Do not mix old and new batteries. · Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable
batteries. · Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended
are to be used. · Do not short-circuit the supply terminals. · Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. · Remove exhausted batteries from the toy. · Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES:
· Remove rechargeable batteries (if removable) from toy before charging.
· Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
· Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.

Disposal of batteries and product
The crossed-out wheelie bin symbols on products and batteries, or on their respective packaging, indicates they must not be disposed of in domestic waste as they contain substances that can be damaging to the environment and human health. The chemical symbols Hg, Cd or Pb, where marked, indicate that the battery contains more than the specified value of mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd) or lead (Pb) set out in the Batteries and Accumulators Regulation. The solid bar indicates that the product was placed on the market after 13th August, 2005. Please dispose of your product and batteries responsibly. In the UK, give this toy a second life by disposing of it at a small electricals collection point* so all of its materials can be recycled. PRODUCT FEATURES
1. On/Off Button To turn the unit On, press the On/Off Button. Press the On/Off Button again to turn the unit Off.
2. Character Buttons Press one of the 6 Character Buttons (Chase, Rubble, Marshall, Skye, Liberty, and Rocky) to dial the phone numbers and to see fun pup animations. You can also pretend to leave a message for the character.
3. Activity Buttons Press the Activity Buttons directly to play one of the 4 activities.
4. Number Buttons Press the Number Buttons to learn numbers or to answer number-related questions.

5. Pup Pup Missions Button
Press the Pup Pup Missions Button to enter the missions activity. You'll need to select the correct Pup based on the situation to finish the mission.

6. OK Button Press the OK Button to confirm your choice.

7. Left/Right Buttons
Press the Left/Right Buttons to make a selection in activities or menus.

8. Phone Call Button
Press the Phone Call Button to make a virtual phone call. You will hear the phone ringing and will then be able to leave a message on the answering machine.

9. Cancel Call Button
Press the Cancel Call Button at any time to exit the current activity.

10. Microphone
The Microphone is used for the voice activation feature. Be sure to keep the Microphone about 10 centimetres from your mouth for best results.

11. Settings Button

Press the Settings Button to turn background music On/Off,

adjust screen contrast, or select a ringtone.

12. Backlight On/Off Button Press the Backlight On/Off Button to turn the backlight On/Off.
13. Light Bar The Light Bar will flash or light with 6 colors when given a response.
14. Automatic Shut-Off To preserve battery life, the PAW Patrol Rescue Mission Learning Phone will automatically turn Off after several minutes of inactivity. The unit can be turned On again by pressing the On/Off Button. The unit will also automatically turn Off when the batteries are very low. A warning will be displayed on the screen as a reminder to change the batteries.
Note: This toy phone has reduced volume to adhere to safety regulations for close-to-the-ear toys.
ACTIVITIES:
The PAW Patrol Rescue Mission Learning Phone offers a total of 6 activities and features to play. 1. Pup Message
Press any of the 6 Character Buttons (Chase, Rubble, Marshall, Skye, Liberty, and Rocky) to call the character to the screen for a brief introduction and to hear fun phrases.

2. Surfboard Save Help Marshall avoid obstacles in the sea. Press the Left or Right Button to avoid the obstacles. Then blow into the Microphone to inflate a lifebuoy to save Marshall.
3. Shapes at Sea Cap'n Turbot dropped boxes in the sea. Pick up different shaped boxes with Skye. Press the Left or Right Button to adjust Skye's position and then press the OK Button to confirm.
4. Dance It Out Liberty dances to the Pup Pup Boogie. Remember the dance steps and press the Number Buttons to repeat the dance.

5. Solve It
Mayor Humdinger stole the gold and locked it in his safe! Help Chase recover stolen gold by solving simple addition and subtraction equations. Press a number to answer.

6. Pup Pup Missions

Ryder will need a pup's help according

to the situation. Press the correct pup's

button to answer the questions being

asked.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
1. Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth. 2. Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct
heat sources. 3. Remove the batteries if the unit will not be in use for an
extended period of time. 4. Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the
unit to moisture or water. 5. If the unit stops working or malfunctions, install a new set of
batteries.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If for some reason the unit stops working or malfunctions, please follow these steps: 1. Turn the unit Off. 2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries. 3. Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries. 4. Turn the unit back On. The unit should now be ready to use
again. 5. If the unit still does not work, install a new set of batteries.
