Important Safety Information
WARNING: Read all instructions before using this refrigerator.
Definitions:
- Safety Alert Symbol: Alerts to potential personal injury hazards. Obey all safety messages to avoid injury or death.
- DANGER: Indicates an imminently hazardous situation which, if not avoided, will result in death or serious injury.
- WARNING: Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in death or serious injury.
- CAUTION: Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, may result in minor or moderate injury.
- IMPORTANT: Indicates installation, operation, or maintenance information that is important but not hazard-related.
Specific Warnings:
- DANGER: Risk of fire or explosion due to flammable refrigerant. Do not use mechanical devices to defrost or puncture refrigerant tubing. Service only by trained personnel with authorized parts.
- CAUTION: Risk of fire or explosion. Dispose of refrigerator properly according to regulations. Flammable refrigerant used. Follow handling instructions carefully.
- WARNING (California Residents): Cancer and Reproductive Harm. Visit P65Warnings.ca.gov.
- Child Safety: Destroy or recycle all packaging materials immediately. Children should not play with these items as they can cause suffocation.
- For Your Safety: Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable liquids near the appliance. Do not operate in the presence of explosive fumes. Avoid contact with moving parts of the automatic ice maker. Remove all staples from cartons to prevent cuts and damage to finishes.
Proper Disposal of your unit:
Risk of child entrapment and suffocation. If discarding an old refrigerator, remove doors, leave shelves in place, and have the refrigerant removed by a qualified service technician. Recycle responsibly.
IMPORTANT: Turning the refrigerator controls to "O" disables cooling but not the light or other electrical components. To turn off power, unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
WARNING: Ensure the supply cord is not trapped or damaged when positioning the appliance. Do not locate multiple portable socket-outlets or power supplies at the rear of the appliance.
Electrical Information:
- Plug the refrigerator into a dedicated 115 Volt, 60 Hz, 15 Amp, AC only electrical outlet.
- Use the three-prong grounding plug for protection against electrical shock hazards. Directly plug into a properly grounded three-prong receptacle. Consult a qualified electrician if needed. Do not use an extension cord or adapter plug.
- If the power cord is damaged, have it replaced by an authorized service technician.
- Never unplug by pulling the power cord; grip the plug firmly and pull straight out.
- Unplug the refrigerator before cleaning or replacing a light bulb to avoid electrical shock.
- Performance may be affected by voltage variations. Operating with insufficient power can damage the compressor, which is not covered under warranty.
- Do not plug the unit into an outlet controlled by a wall switch or pull cord.
Grounding: Do not remove or bypass the grounding prong.

Installation
Follow these steps before starting the refrigerator:
Location:
- Choose a place near a grounded electrical outlet. Do not use an extension cord or adapter plug.
- Place out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources like ranges or dishwashers.
- Install on a level, strong floor capable of supporting a fully loaded refrigerator.
WARNING: This appliance is intended for residential household and similar interior applications (e.g., Kitchen, Pantry, Basement, Enclosed Garage).
CAUTION: Do not install where the surrounding air temperature may fall below 45°F (7°C) or exceed 110°F (43°C), as this may cause contents to freeze or operating temperatures to rise above normal.
Do not block the lower front of the refrigerator to ensure sufficient air circulation.
Installation Clearances:
- Sides & Top: 3 inches
- Back: 4 inches
Guidelines for final positioning:
- Ensure all four corners of the cabinet rest firmly on the floor.
- The cabinet should be level at the front and rear.
To level the cabinet using the front leveling legs:
- Lower the leveling legs by turning them counterclockwise until they contact the floor.
- Turn the leveling legs clockwise to raise and counterclockwise to lower. Ensure the floor is strong enough to support a fully loaded unit.
Door Removal/Reversal Instructions
You can reverse the door swing direction. A qualified person should perform this task. Before beginning, turn the refrigerator temperature control to "OFF" and remove all food from door shelves.
IMPORTANT: A door reversal kit is packed inside the unit. Place the door on a padded surface to avoid damage.
Tools Necessary: Phillips™ Head screwdriver, Socket Wrench Set, Adjustable Wrench, 5/16" (8mm) & 3/8" (10mm) Fixed Wrenches.
Steps:
- Remove the top right hinge cover and screw cover using a nut driver.
- Remove the top hinge while securing the freezer door. Lift the freezer door off and place it on a soft pad.
- Remove and refit the pin of the top hinge on the opposite side.
- Remove the middle hinge and plastic washer while securing the refrigerator door. Lift the refrigerator door off and place it on a soft pad.
- Swap the hole-plug and hinge bushing at the top of the refrigerator door from left to right and vice-versa.
- Move the middle hinge cover from the left side to the right side.
- Place the appliance to access the bottom.
- Remove the right adjustable foot. Then remove the bottom hinge using a nut driver.
- Unscrew the pin at the end of the bottom hinge, turn the hinge over, and screw the pin into the opposite end.
- Move the hinge cover and left adjustable foot from left side to right side.
- Install the left bottom hinge using a nut driver. Install the right adjustable foot (from step 8) on the left side.
- Set the refrigerator door on the lower hinge, then install the middle hinge and hinge cushion on the left side.
- Set the freezer door on the middle hinge pin. Install the top hinge (reverse of step 3).
- Install the top left hinge cover to the left side. Install the screw cover to the right side.
NOTE: Keep screws and hinge spacers for use on the opposite side. When reversing the door, remove the electrical power cord from the wall outlet.
Controls and Settings
Freezer Temperature Adjustment:
- The freezer control can be set to the factory preset (RECOMMENDED) or adjusted as desired.
- Adjust temperature gradually in small increments, allowing it to stabilize.
- For colder temperatures, adjust the knob towards COLDER.
- For warmer temperatures, adjust the knob towards COLD.
Refrigerator Temperature Adjustment:
- The refrigerator control can be set to the factory preset (RECOMMENDED) or adjusted as desired.
- Adjust temperature gradually, allowing it to stabilize.
- For colder temperatures, use the SET key and choose COLDER.
- For warmer temperatures, use the SET key and choose COLD.
Refrigerator Control Details:
- A SET: Push the SET key to change between COLD, COLDER (RECOMMENDED), and COLDEST temperatures.
- B COLD, COLDER (RECOMMENDED), COLDEST: Indicates the refrigerator compartment setting via LED lights.
- C OFF: To turn the power off, press and hold the SET key for 3 seconds. The OFF indicator light will turn on. To turn the power on, press and hold the SET key for 3 seconds. The power will turn on and the OFF indicator light will turn off.
Storage Features
CAUTION: Do not clean glass shelves or covers with warm water when they are cold, as they may break if exposed to sudden temperature changes or impact. Tempered glass is designed to shatter into small pieces. Use both hands when removing heavy glass shelves.
Shelf Adjustment:
- Remove shelf by raising the back and pulling it forward.
- To replace, rest side edges on shelf rails and push back into position.
Crisper Humidity Controls:
Adjustable controls on crisper drawers allow you to manage humidity for extending the life of fresh vegetables. High humidity is best for leafy vegetables. Low humidity is suitable for non-leafy vegetables and fruits.
Crispers:
Located under the bottom refrigerator shelf, crispers are designed for fruits, vegetables, and produce. Wash items and remove excess water before storing. Wrap items with strong odors or high moisture content.
Door Storage:
Door bins, shelves, and racks provide convenient storage for jars, bottles, and cans. Frequently used items can be quickly selected.
The dairy compartment is warmer and intended for short-term storage of cheese, spreads, or butter.

NOTE: Always clean, wipe, and dry with the grain to prevent scratching. Wash the rest of the cabinet with warm water and mild liquid detergent. Rinse well and wipe dry with a clean soft cloth.

Limited Warranty
Your appliance is covered by a one-year limited warranty from the date of delivery. Electrolux will cover costs for repairing or replacing defective parts due to materials or workmanship, provided the appliance is used and maintained according to instructions.
Exclusions:
- Products with altered or missing serial numbers.
- Products transferred to a new owner or taken outside the USA or Canada.
- Rust on interior or exterior.
- Products purchased "as-is".
- Food loss due to appliance failure.
- Products used in a commercial setting.
- Service calls for installation, user instruction, or cosmetic issues.
- Expenses for making the appliance accessible for servicing.
- Service calls for consumables like light bulbs, filters, or knobs.
- Surcharges for after-hour, weekend, or holiday service, or for remote areas.
- Damage to appliance finish or home incurred during installation.
- Damage caused by unauthorized service, non-genuine parts, abuse, misuse, inadequate power supply, accidents, fire, or acts of God.
Disclaimer of Implied Warranties; Limitation of Remedies:
The sole remedy is product repair or replacement. Implied warranties are limited to one year or the shortest period allowed by law. Electrolux is not liable for consequential or incidental damages. Some states/provinces may not allow these limitations.
