Aiphone AC Nio Elevator Control Guide

This guide covers the configuration of ACS-ELV elevator control panels using the AC Nio™ software, including adding hardware and programming.

Adding an Elevator Panel

Ensure the ACS-ELV control panel is connected to the same network as the PC running AC Nio and is in the same IP range. Refer to the YouTube playlist for assistance.

Log into AC Nio™. A pop-up may appear for discovered panels. If not, navigate to Hardware > Panels. Click +Add.

On the new page:

Under TCP Connection, choose between DHCP (Automatic) or manual network settings, matching the main panel's configuration. Click +Create.

Adding Elevators to a Panel

After panel settings are complete, add elevators. Each elevator represents a cab and its floors.

Navigate to Hardware > Elevators. Click +Add.

Configure the elevator:

Set the Starting Floor Number and the Number of Floors. The ACS-ELV supports one elevator with up to 64 floors, or two elevators with up to 32 floors each with expanders.

Click +Create to finish, +Add Another to add more elevators, or +Continue Configuration to proceed with the current elevator's setup.

Configuring an Elevator

The General settings page for an elevator can be accessed after clicking +Continue Configuration or by navigating to Hardware > Elevators and selecting the elevator's gear symbol.

General Settings:

Click Save after configuring settings.

Floors Configuration:

The Floors page sets schedules for each floor. Click the green disc to save changes.

Configuring an Elevator (continued)

Reader Configuration:

The Reader menu configures the card reader inside the elevator cab. Click Save after settings are configured.

Camera Association:

Assign a camera to the elevator. Select a camera system from the drop-down, then check the desired camera. Only one camera can be selected. Click Save.

Configuring a Panel

After adding elevators, configure other panel settings. Navigate to Hardware > Panels and select the panel's gear symbol.

General Panel Settings:

Click Save.

Connectivity Settings:

Configure network settings on the Connectivity page. By default, uses DHCP. Can be changed to a static IP address.

Click Save.

Option Settings (Panel Hardware):

Configure panel hardware settings on the Option page. Click Save.

Configure inputs and outputs on the I/O page. Click an input/output to see options. Click Save.

The Floor I/O Map displays expanders, floor names, and statuses. No settings are configured here.

Assigning Floors to an Access Privilege Group

Access Privilege Groups define user access to building areas and schedules. Navigate to Users > Access Privilege Groups. Click +Add to create a new group.

Under Readers, select readers assigned to the elevator.

Under Floors, select the floors users in the group can access. Click +Create to finalize.

Updating a Panel

Once all settings are configured, update the panel. Click Update Panels, then click Yes to confirm.

A list of stations will show their update status. After the upload, click the X symbol to return to normal operation.
