Product Description
Eaton's Bussmann® series 10 x 38 mm modular fuse holders offer enhanced space for cabling due to their compact design. They are suitable for a wide range of applications, including photovoltaic systems.
Key Features
- Color-coded for identification: Yellow for PV (1000 V d.c.), Red for IEC (690 V a.c.), and Black for UL (600 V a.c./V d.c.) applications.
- PV Compatibility: CHPV models feature a 1000 V d.c. rating, making them ideal for solar gPV fuse links in photovoltaic applications of any scale.
- Global Standards Compliance: Tested to a wide range of standards including IEC, cULus, CCC, CSA, and UR, ensuring suitability for global use.
- Compact Footprint: World-class, compact design reduces installation space compared to other modular fuse holders.
- Toolless Mounting: Features toolless DIN-Rail mounting for improved ease of use and reduced installation time and costs.
- Wire Compatibility: Rated for use with 75°C or 90°C wire, fine stranded wire, spade terminals, and comb-bus bars. Higher temperature rated wires can be used with appropriate derating.

Product Features Visual Description
The fuse holders incorporate several design features for usability and safety:
- Lockout Feature: Located in the fuse carrier for secure operation.
- Wire Security Tag Hole: Provided for attaching security tags.
- Optional Open Fuse Indicator: An optional indicator to show the status of the fuse.
- Label Slot: For clear labeling and identification.
- Material: Constructed from self-extinguishing, UL 94V0 rated polyester material for safety.
- Screw Type: Features captive, fully backed-out phil-slot screws for easy terminal connection.
- Terminal Connections: Includes spade lug connection and a box lug cable terminal that accepts 4-18AWG wire, 1 to 25mm² cable, or 6mm bus bar connections.
- Wire Strip Length Indicator: A visual guide for correct wire stripping.
- Mounting: Toolless DIN-Rail mounting mechanism.
Multi-Pole Ganging
Multiple poles can be ganged together using the JV-L multi-pole connection kit. One JV-L kit is sufficient to gang up to four poles.

Removing Instructions from DIN-Rail
- Press down on the top of the DIN-Rail.
- Rotate the fuse holder out from the bottom.
