Operating Instructions

1. Filling the Water Tank

   Ensure the iron is unplugged and cool. Open the water filling flap and fill the tank up to the MAX line with clean water. This step is applicable to all models.

2. Setting Temperature and Steam

   Select the desired temperature and steam output using the control dial. The 'OK' indicator [✔️] confirms a valid setting, while 'NO' [❌] indicates an invalid one. The 'eco' mode can be selected for energy-saving operation.

3. Ironing

   Begin ironing your garments. The iron features an 'AUTO-OFF' function that activates if the iron is left idle.

4. Steam Boost and Spray

   Use the steam boost button for a powerful burst of steam or the spray function as needed during ironing.

5. AUTO-OFF Function

   The 'AUTO-OFF' indicator will blink when the iron is inactive for approximately 30 sec. in a horizontal position or 8 min. in a vertical position. It will turn solid when the iron has automatically shut off.

6. Self-Clean Function

   To activate the self-clean function, press and hold the self-clean button for 1-2 sec. Ensure the iron is hot and unplugged, with the water tank partially filled.

7. Anti-Calc Collector (Model Dependent)

   If your model is equipped with an Anti-Calc collector, remove it by pressing the release button and emptying any collected scale. This helps maintain performance.

8. Soleplate Cleaning

   After each use, and once the iron is cool and unplugged, clean the soleplate with a damp cloth. Keep your hands at least 20 cm away from the soleplate during cleaning.

9. Descaling (for models without collector)

   Periodically, especially in hard water areas, descaling may be necessary. Fill the iron with a mixture of equal parts water and white vinegar or a descaling solution. Heat the iron for approximately 1 h, then carefully empty the water tank.

10. Emptying the Water Tank

    After descaling or use, it is recommended to empty the water tank completely to prevent mineral buildup and ensure longevity.

11. Maintenance Frequency

    Perform maintenance tasks such as cleaning the Anti-Calc collector or descaling approximately 6x/year, or more frequently if you have hard water.

12. Storage

    Allow the iron to cool down completely, which may take up to 4 h. Store the iron upright in a safe and dry place. The [click] sound may indicate a secure lock or storage position.

13. Final Checks

    Before storing, ensure the iron is empty and clean. Secure any cords and place the iron in its designated storage position.
