1. Installing into the car
Follow these steps to correctly install the BeSafe Stretch car seat into your vehicle.
Step 1: Side Impact Protection (SIP+)
Ensure the SIP+ element is correctly positioned on the side of the car seat facing the car door for enhanced side impact protection.
Step 2: Extend ISOFIX Connectors
Extend the car seat's ISOFIX connectors from the base of the seat.
Step 3: Connect to Vehicle ISOFIX Anchors
Align the ISOFIX connectors with the vehicle's ISOFIX anchor points and push them in until they click securely. Two green indicators confirm correct attachment. [✔️][✔️]
Step 4: Extend Support Leg
Extend the support leg downwards until it locks into place with an audible "Click!". Ensure the support leg is firmly on the vehicle floor. [✔️]
Step 5: Adjust Harness Height
Pull the harness adjustment strap to loosen the harness.
Step 6: Buckle Harness
Place the child in the seat and connect the two red buckle tongues into the buckle base.
Step 7: Tighten Harness
Pull the harness adjustment strap firmly to ensure the harness is snug against the child's body. [➡️]
Step 8: Attach Top Tether
Connect the top tether strap to the designated anchor point in your vehicle. [➡️]
Step 9: Secure Harness Buckle
Ensure the harness buckle clicks securely into place. [✔️]
Step 10: Final Harness Tightening
Perform a final tightening of the harness by pulling the adjustment strap.
2. Usage
Proper usage ensures optimal safety and comfort for your child.
Step 1: Adjust Harness Height
Adjust the harness height to fit your child's shoulders by pulling the harness adjustment strap.
Step 2: Release Harness
Press the harness release button [?] and open the buckle to allow the child to exit.
Step 3: Place Child in Seat
Position your child comfortably in the car seat.
Step 4: Position Harness Straps
Ensure the harness straps are positioned correctly over the child's shoulders.
Step 5: Tighten Harness
Pull the harness adjustment strap to achieve a snug fit.
Step 6: Adjust Recline Position
The seat offers 5 recline positions. Adjust as needed for your child's comfort. [⬆️][⬇️]
3. Removing from the car
Follow these steps to safely remove the car seat from your vehicle.
Step 1: Unbuckle Harness
Press the harness release button [?] and unbuckle the harness.
Step 2: Release ISOFIX Connectors
Activate the ISOFIX release levers (follow the sequence indicated by numbers 1 and 2) to detach the connectors.
Step 3: Retract ISOFIX Connectors
Retract the ISOFIX connectors back into the seat base.
Step 4: Retract Support Leg
Retract the support leg back into the seat base.
Step 5: Remove Seat from Vehicle
Lift the car seat out of the vehicle.
