Product Overview

Controller Layout Description
The controller features a D-Pad, Left Joystick, Right Joystick, Action Buttons (labeled X, o, O, A), SHARE button, OPTIONS button, HOME button, L1/R1 shoulder buttons, and L2/R2 trigger buttons. It also includes a multi-touch surface, a speaker, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a charging port, and a light bar.
Instructions for Connecting to the Console
Connect to PS4
- For the first connection, use a wired connection.
- After successful wired connection, unplug the controller to automatically switch to wireless mode.
- Press the PS button on the controller to automatically connect wirelessly.
- When multiple controllers are connected, each player's controller will have a different light color.
- To connect wired to the PS4 console, plug the USB data cable into the PS4 console.
Wireless Connect to Other Equipment
Press and hold the SHARE + PS button on the controller for 5 seconds to enter wireless pairing mode. The controller's indicator light will flash white quickly and double. This mode allows connection to PC, TV, Android, and iOS devices.
For PC, TV, and Android mobile phones, the wireless name is "Wireless Controller". For iOS devices, it is "DUALSHOCK 4 Wireless Controller".
Wired Connection to PC
Directly connect the controller to a PC's USB port using the USB data cable. It will be recognized as a "Wireless Controller" device.
Function Description
Six-Axis Function
The Six-axis function utilizes a three-axis gyroscope and a three-axis acceleration sensor, comprising six axes (X, Y, Z, Roll, Pitch, Yaw). It detects movement in various directions: X-axis (left/right), Y-axis (front/back), Z-axis (up/down), Roll (rotation around Y-axis), Pitch (rotation around X-axis), and Yaw (rotation around Z-axis).
Extensions
An EXT expansion interface is available for connecting a special charging stand or other accessories, such as button attachments for the PS4 controller.
Touch Function
The upper middle section of the controller features a capacitive two-point touch control area. It supports single-finger and two-finger touch inputs and can be pressed.
Audio Function
A built-in mono speaker provides game voice commands without interfering with main game audio. A 3.5mm stereo headphone jack is also available for audio output, which can be configured in system settings for individual voice or all sound effects.
