Cascade with plate heat exchanger or low loss header
A plate heat exchanger can be used to separate the boiler from the system in both open vented and sealed systems. This provides greater protection for the boiler, especially where water quality in the existing system is poor.
A low loss header is a device that hydraulically separates the boiler from the heating circuit. This helps to improve the efficiency and performance of the heating system by regulating the pressure and flow rate of the system.
