Quick Start Guide

Remote Control Overview

Familiarize yourself with the remote control buttons and their functions.

Primary Buttons:

  • 1. Power : Switches the TV between on and standby mode.
  • 2. Indicator: Indicator light.
  • 3. Mute : Mute or restore your TV sound.
  • 4. INFO : Displays current channel information, such as the current time and channel name.
  • 5. Google Assistant : Talk to Google to control your TV using your voice.
  • 6. Profiles : Switch between profiles.
  • 7. Settings : On the HOME page, this button functions as "Dashboard". On Live TV, it functions as "Menu".
  • 8. Navigation buttons : Use UP/LEFT/RIGHT/DOWN cursors to navigate.
  • 9. Home : Displays the home screen.
  • 10. Back : Press to move back through menus.
  • 11. Live Guide : Open the Live TV EPG (Electronic Program Guide).

Media & Function Buttons:

  • 12. Inputs : Display/Select signal source options.
  • 13. AUDIO: Displays the Audio Language list and allows selection of an audio language or format if available for the program.
  • 14. NETFLIX: Connects to Netflix for viewing online TV shows and films (requires internet connection).
  • 15. YouTube: Connects to YouTube (requires internet connection).
  • 16. Prime Video: Connects to Prime Video (requires internet connection).
  • 17. Disney+: Connects to Disney+ (requires internet connection; availability may vary by region).
  • 18. EXIT : Exits the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu.
  • 19. USB : Press to enter the Multimedia Player.
  • 20. SUB.T : Close Caption.
  • 21. PVR: Record the Live TV program, play the last/next program, or play/pause/stop the program.

Note: Google Assistant availability varies by language and country.

Assembly and Installation

Follow these steps to assemble and connect your TV.

Before You Get Started

Spread cushioning flat to lay the TV on to prevent damage.

1. Stand Assembly

a. Attach the stands to the base of the TV.

b. Insert two 25mm screws (BA4 x25(4PCS)) for each stand and tighten using a Phillips head screwdriver (not supplied).

2. Remote Control Assembly

a. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote.

b. Insert two 1.5V AAA batteries , ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.

c. Replace the battery compartment cover.

TV Ports:

The rear panel of the TV features various ports for connectivity:

  • RG45 (LAN)
  • OPTICAL
  • VIDEO
  • L, R (Audio Out)
  • HDMI 3
  • HDMI 2
  • HDMI 1/ARC
  • ANT 75Ω (Antenna Input )
  • USB1/USB 2 (5V 500mA)

3. Connect to Antenna

a. Connect an antenna cable (not supplied) to the "ANT" input port at the back of the TV.

b. Ensure the antenna cable is connected to a working antenna, either via an antenna wall socket in your home or directly.

4. Turning TV On

Plug the power cord into a suitable power outlet. Then, press the Power button on the remote control, aiming it at the sensor at the front of the TV. Alternatively, you can press the power button located on the lower side of the back panel of the TV.

Turning TV Off:

Press the Power button on the remote control to enter standby mode. To power down the TV completely, unplug the power cord from the power outlet. It is recommended to unplug the set from both the power outlet and aerial if it will not be used for a long time.

Initial Setup

Follow the on-screen setup wizard to configure your TV.

1.1 Pairing Bluetooth Remote

Press the 'BACK' and 'Home' buttons simultaneously on the remote control to enter Bluetooth pairing mode. The indicator light on the remote will flash. Keep the remote within 1 meter of the TV bottom, pointing towards it, for at least 3 seconds.

1.2 Language Select

Use the navigation buttons to select your system language, then press the [ok-button] to confirm.

1.3 Region or Country Select

Use the navigation buttons to select your region or country, then press the [ok-button] to confirm.

1.4 Set up with the Google Home app

Follow the instructions within the Google Home app. You may also choose to "Set up on TV instead". Note that Google Home app support and setup codes can vary by country and TV model.

1.5 Select TV mode (Home/Retail)

Select "Home" if you are using this TV at home. Ensure you confirm your selection.

1.6 Configure the Wi-Fi network

Use the navigation buttons to select your Wi-Fi network , enter the password, and then confirm to connect. You can also select "Skip" to perform this later in the homepage or settings menu.

1.7 Terms of Service

To improve the product experience, select "Accept" to proceed with the terms and conditions.

1.8 Google Services

To learn more about Google services, select the relevant option. Data usage is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Select "Accept" to confirm.

1.9 Tuner mode Setting

Select Antenna, Cable, or Satellite to scan for TV channels. If you select "Skip", the channel scan can be performed later in the menu.

1.10 Play Auto Installs

Select this option to install or uninstall recommended applications.

1.11 Get the most out of your Google TV™

Set up additional optional features for a more personalized experience. Select "Go to Google TV" to proceed to the home page.

Home Screen

Once initial setup is complete, you will enter the home screen. You can also press the Home button at any time to display the homepage.

Home Screen Sections:

  • ① For you: Browse over 400,000 movies and TV episodes from your streaming services, organized by genre and topic.
  • ② Movies & Shows: Watch your favorite movies and shows or discover new ones.
  • ④ Apps: Download and access your favorite apps for movies, shows, games, and more.
  • ⑤ Library: Keep all your shows and movies in a single watchlist, adding content from your TV, phone, or browser.
  • ⑥ Search: Find content quickly by voice command using Google Assistant .
  • ⑦ Settings: Adjust various performance aspects of your TV.

Settings

Access and adjust various TV settings.

Accessing Settings:

1. Press the navigation buttons to select "Settings" (usually in the upper right corner of the screen).

2. Use the navigation buttons to select the desired option within the Settings menu.

3. Press the [ok-button] to enter the selected sub-menu.

Channel and Inputs

Display the scan sub-menu based on different channel installation modes.

1. Select "Channel and Inputs".

2. To scan channels, enter "Channels" and select Analog, Antenna, or Cable.

3. To select sources, enter "Inputs" and choose HDMI, Composite, etc.

Network and Internet

Adjust network settings and check your connection. Select "Network and Internet" in the settings menu, then navigate to Wi-Fi , Add new network, Scanning always available, or network privacy policy options.

System

Select options such as Ambient mode, Power and energy, About, Date and time, Language, and Keyboard. Press [ok-button] to jump to the corresponding sub-option.

About

Check additional information like System update, Device name, Restart, and Status. Press to return to the previous menu or to exit the menu.

Factory reset

If "Factory reset" is selected, it will erase all data from your device's internal storage, including your Google Account, system and app data, settings, and downloaded apps.

4. TV Source Settings

To enter TV source settings from the Homepage, press the Home button or select "Live TV".

Accounts & Sign-in

To access and download applications, you must sign in with a Google Account.

Once you open Google Play, you will be prompted to sign in or create a new account.

After signing in, you can scroll through the list of available applications, go to the search button, or use voice search via Google Assistant to find apps.

Basic Troubleshooting

Here are solutions for common issues:

Poor picture and sound quality

  • Try a different channel.
  • Adjust the antenna .
  • Check all connections.

No picture or sound in TV status

  • Try another channel.
  • Press the TV/AV button.
  • Make sure the TV is plugged in.
  • Check the antenna connection .

No sound or sound is too low at maximum volume

  • Check the volume settings on any external speakers connected to your television.
  • Adjust the TV volume accordingly.
  • Check another channel or input.
  • Check that MUTE hasn't been turned on.

No colour, wrong colour or tints

  • Make sure the program itself is broadcast in colour.
  • Select the picture menu, then adjust the colour and tint submenus.

Picture rolls vertically

  • Check all connections.

Blurred or snowy picture, distorted sound

  • Check direction, location, and connections to your antenna .
  • Issues may be caused by the use of an indoor antenna (poor signal).

Remote control malfunctions

  • Replace remote control batteries .
  • Check battery terminals.
  • Remote is out of range; move closer to the TV.
  • Remove any obstructions between the remote and the IR sensor of the TV.
  • Make sure the power cord to your TV is plugged in and turned on.

Image is not centred on the screen

  • Adjust the horizontal and vertical position.

"No Signal" on HDMI source

  • Test the device with a different HDMI cable.
  • Plug the device into another HDMI port.
  • Try a different device connected to the same cable and port.

For persistent issues, consider performing a factory reset on your TV.
