V. Mounting Bracket Fasten Method

  1. Wood ceiling: Drill the mounting bracket into a wood beam using 4 wood screws. Ensure the ceiling can bear more than 60KG. Do not install directly on the wood ceiling surface to prevent loosening.
  2. Concrete ceiling: Use an 8mm impact drill to create a hole for the screw. Use the two M6 screws from the hardware bag to secure the mounting bracket to the ceiling. Ensure the drill hole is 8mm deep before using the M6 expansion screw.

Note:

  • Use appropriate screws based on ceiling material.
  • After fixing the bracket, test its ability to bear over 60 kg (pull by hand).
  • Ceiling fans cannot be installed on gypsum ceilings.

Installation Distance: The distance between the blades and the ceiling plane should not be less than 22cm. Less than 22cm will result in reduced airflow. [Diagram Description: Shows a side view of the ceiling fan installation with a measurement indicating "Distance > 22cm" between the ceiling and the blades.]

VI. Suspension Installation

1. Select the Downrod

A. Two downrods are provided: 5-inch and 10-inch. Choose the length based on ceiling height.

B. The default installation uses the 5-inch downrod.

C. How to replace a downrod:

Notice: A longer downrod (10-inch) can only be used if the fan blade height will be over 2.3 meters from the ground after installation.

[Diagram Description: A sequence of 5 figures showing the process of removing the 5-inch downrod and installing the 10-inch downrod. Figure 2 shows loosening two screws. Figure 3 shows pushing the downrod upwards. Figure 4 shows removing the horizontal tip. Figure 5 shows pulling out the 5-inch downrod to replace it with the 10-inch downrod.]

Follow steps 4-3-2 to re-install. Ensure the two fixing screws are firmly locked.

[Diagram Description: Figure 10 shows the fan hanging from the bracket, with a close-up showing the "Recessed groove" on the downrod ball aligning with the "Lug" on the hanger.]

Note: The groove on the downrod ball must match the lug on the hanger exactly.

VII. Attaching Fan Blades

Three blades and five blades are installed the same way.

  1. Take out the screws from the motor (Figure 11).
  2. Tighten the fan blades to the motor using the screws. Ensure each screw is fixed tightly for safety (Figure 12). [Diagram Description: Figures 11-13 show attaching fan blades. Figure 11 shows screws. Figure 12 shows tightening blade set screws. Figure 13 shows the assembled blades.]

Note: Apply conventional force. Do not overtighten screws after they are locked, as this can cause irreversible damage to the motor coil.

VIII. Install Lamp

Three blades fan installation is the same as five blades fan.

  1. Take out the three lamp plate screws from the motor (Figure 14) and attach the lamp plate to the motor with the screws.
  2. Connect the wirings on the motor and LED lamp plate tightly. [Diagram Description: Figures 14-16 show lamp installation. Figure 14 shows lamp plate screws. Figure 15 shows the LED lamp plate. Figure 16 shows motor wirings.]

Controller Wiring Diagram

Wiring Method: One live, One Neutral.

Use Effect:

  • If a regular single pole switch is connected, it can only control the light on/off, not the fan. The fan must be turned on/off and adjusted by remote control.
  • If a regular single pole switch is NOT connected, the remote control can directly control the lights and fans separately.

Note: The software setting is such that the light turns on when power is restored after being turned off. If the fan is turned off, it needs to be turned on by the remote control.

[Diagram Description: A wiring diagram shows AC power input (L, N, E) connecting to a receiver. A separate single pole switch is shown as optional. The receiver outputs connect to the fan motor (U, V, W) and lights (FOR LIGHT). Ground wire is also shown. A separate diagram shows how the canopy, downrod, and hanger bracket connect.]

Wiring Connections:

Note: Power supply for the remote control and fan must be cut off before connecting wires. Match wire colors to labels on the receiver.

  • A. Plug the power wires (3-pin connector) into the receiver's socket.
  • B. Plug the light wires (2-pin connector) into the receiver's socket.
  • C. Plug the motor wires (3-pin connector) into the receiver's socket.
  • D. Connect the live wire from the ceiling to the receiver's black wire (AC IN L).
  • E. Connect the neutral wire from the ceiling to the receiver's white wire (AC IN N).
  • F. Connect the two grey-yellow wires (EARTH) from the motor and receiver together to the grey-yellow wire (EARTH) from the ceiling.

[Diagram Description: Figures 1-3 show the receiver being placed into the hanger bracket.]

IX. Wiring

The all-pole disconnect circuit breaker with a contact distance of 3mm must be connected to the fixed wiring.

X. Canopy Installation

After wiring, loosen the two pre-installed screws on the mounting bracket to align with the holes on the canopy and attach it.

[Diagram Description: Shows loosening screws on the mounting bracket and attaching the canopy.]

XII. Balance Adjustment Method of Ceiling Fan

If the fan shakes after installation, first confirm that all screws (drop ball, mounting bracket, hanger, leaf shelf, blades) are locked. If any are loose, re-lock them. If all are locked, proceed with adjustment:

  1. Change the position of the fan blades:

    A. Swap the positions of two adjacent blades (e.g., leaf 1 and 2) and observe the effect. [Diagram Description: Shows a top view of the fan blades numbered 1-5, indicating swapping positions.]

    B. If there is no improvement, swap another pair of blades (e.g., 2 and 3) and re-lock them to observe the effect.

  2. Adjust with balance pack:

    A. Take the balance kit from the packing box. Use the balance clamp to attach to the tail end of one fan blade. [Diagram Description: Shows a balance clamp being attached to the edge of a fan blade.]

    B. Turn on the fan to check if shaking is reduced. If not, try another blade. Experiment with all blades to find the one with the weakest shaking.

    C. Clamp the balance clamp on the weakest shaking blade. Move it in or out on the blade's edge while the fan is running to find the optimal position for the balance clamp to control shaking. [Diagram Description: Shows moving the balance clamp along the blade edge.]

    D. Use the balance sticker. Tear off the double-sided tape and stick the balance sticker onto the center of the blade at the position of the balance clip. [Diagram Description: Shows a balance sticker being applied to the blade.]

XIII. Precautions

Warning: To prevent fire and electric shock, do not install or use an electric switch that is not equipped with this ceiling fan.

Maintenance and Repair of Ceiling Fans

  1. Recommended: Check connecting parts (hanger, pipe fastening screw, fan blade) annually to ensure they are safe and reliable.
  2. Clean the fan regularly. Use a soft brush or cloth for dust. Use a slightly wet cloth for oil or laminate. Do not rinse with water.
  3. The motor bearing is pre-greased. Do not add lubricating oil to the motor to avoid scratching the surface.
