Initial Operation
Ventilation: Ensure adequate air supply and avoid overheating by not placing the unit near radiators or similar heat sources.
Power Connection:
- Before connecting to mains, ensure your local voltage matches the unit's required voltage. The fuse holder has markings for different voltages; turn it 180° to select the desired voltage.
- When operating at 120 V, a higher fuse rating is required. Refer to the "Specifications" for details.
- Always use a fuse of the correct type and rating. Before changing a fuse, switch off the device and unplug the power cord to avoid electric shock or damage.
- The mains connection uses the enclosed power cord and a standard IEC receptacle.
- Ensure all devices are properly grounded. Never remove or disable ground conductors. The unit must always be connected to a mains outlet with a protective grounding connection.
Interference: Sound quality may diminish near powerful broadcasting stations or high-frequency sources. Increase the distance between the transmitter and the device, and use shielded cables.
Powering On/Off: Always ensure the POWER switch (47) is in the "Off" position when initially connecting the unit to the mains. To disconnect power completely, unplug the unit's power cord from the outlet. Merely switching the unit off does not fully disconnect it from the mains.
