This document provides assembly instructions for the IKEA HOVET mirror. Please read all instructions carefully before beginning assembly.
Important Note on Wall Fixings: Because there are many types of walls, screws for wall mounting are not included. For recommendations on suitable fixing systems, contact a specialist.
Tools and Parts Required

- Screwdriver ?
- Pencil ✏️
- Spirit Level ?
- Tape Measure ?
Included Parts:
- 2x Bracket (Part numbers: 10146789, 10146788)
- 2x Screw (Part number: 111275)
Note: Ensure you have the correct wall fixings suitable for your wall type.
Assembly Method 1: Direct Vertical Mounting
Step 1: Mark Wall
Position the mirror vertically against the wall. Using a pencil ✏️ and spirit level ?, mark two points on the wall horizontally aligned, spaced 764 mm (30 1/16") apart. Ensure the marks are level.
Step 2: Install Wall Fixings
At the marked points, install appropriate wall anchors ⚓ and screws ?. (The diagram shows two screws being inserted into wall anchors).
Step 3: Hang Mirror
Carefully lift and hang the mirror onto the installed screws.
Assembly Method 2: Direct Horizontal Mounting
Step 1: Mark Wall
Position the mirror horizontally against the wall. Using a pencil ✏️ and spirit level ?, mark two points on the wall horizontally aligned, spaced 1944 mm (76 9/16") apart. Ensure the marks are level.
Step 2: Install Wall Fixings
At the marked points, install appropriate wall anchors ⚓ and screws ?. (The diagram shows two screws being inserted into wall anchors).
Step 3: Hang Mirror
Carefully lift and hang the mirror onto the installed screws.
Assembly Method 3: Using Bracket
Step 1: Prepare Wall Markings
Mark two points on the wall using a pencil ✏️. Then, mark a third point 50 mm (2") from the top edge of the mirror's intended position.
Step 2: Attach Bracket to Mirror
Attach one bracket (parts 10146789, 10146788) to the mirror frame using one screw (111275) and a nut. Ensure it is securely fastened.
Step 3: Mount Bracket to Wall
Install appropriate wall anchors ⚓ and screws ? into the wall at the marked points. The diagram suggests one screw is used for the bracket.
Step 4: Hang Mirror
Hang the mirror, with the attached bracket, onto the wall screw.
