Plug Compatibility
Plugs Accepted
The adapters are designed to accept a wide variety of international plug types, including:
- Type A: Common in North America, Central America, and Japan. Features two parallel flat pins.
- Type B: Similar to Type A, but with an additional round grounding pin. Common in North America and Central America.
- Type C: Also known as the Europlug. Features two round pins. Common in Europe and many other countries.
- Type E: Features two round pins and a hole for the grounding pin of the socket. Common in France, Belgium, and parts of Eastern Europe.
- Type F: Also known as Schuko. Features two round pins and grounding clips on the sides. Common in Germany, Austria, and many European countries.
- Type G: Features three rectangular pins in a triangular pattern. Common in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and several other countries.
- Type I: Features three flat pins, two of which are angled. Common in Australia, New Zealand, and parts of Asia.
Plugs Not Accepted
The adapters are not designed to accept the following plug types:
- Type J: Primarily used in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Features three round pins.
- Type L: Used in Italy and parts of North Africa. Features three round pins in a line.
- Type N: A newer standard used in Brazil and South Africa. Features three round pins.
- Type D: Primarily used in India and Nepal. Features three large round pins in a triangular pattern.
- Type H: Primarily used in Israel and the Palestinian territories. Features three flat pins.
- Type M: Primarily used in South Africa and some neighboring countries. Features three large round pins.
- Type K: Primarily used in Denmark and Greenland. Features three round pins.
- Type O: Primarily used in Thailand. Features three round pins.
