Initial Setup: Battery Installation
1. Open the battery compartment. Insert three fresh AAA batteries, ensuring the negative terminal of each battery contacts the spring.
Note: To avoid permanent damage, please observe correct battery polarity before inserting batteries.
Note: Lithium batteries are recommended for cold weather environments.
Note: Please use new batteries. Using old batteries may prevent Wi-Fi connection.
Sensor Installation
Outdoor Installation
It is recommended to mount the sensor outdoors in a shaded area. A north-facing wall is preferred as it remains in shade for most of the day.
Direct sunlight and radiant heat sources can lead to inaccurate temperature readings.
Although the sensor is not waterproof, it is best to mount it in a well-protected area, such as under an eave.
Indoor Installation
If installing the sensor indoors, please select a well-ventilated area.

Downloading the Weatherseed App
Please search for the "Weatherseed" APP in Google Play or the iOS App Store.
After downloading, follow the app's instructions for WiFi connection to link your weather station and view data.

Connecting to WiFi
Note: Make sure your Wi-Fi router supports 2.4GHz (the device only supports 2.4GHz).
Note: Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile phone.
Note: Ensure you select the correct device type and model in the app to successfully connect to the network.
Connecting Steps
- Open the “Weatherseed" App, select "Add Device", and choose the product category (Portable Weather Station) and model (SA3).
- Manually enter the device name and address, then click “Next”. Follow the on-screen connection steps.
- Press and hold the "pairing" button on the device to enter "Bluetooth distribution network" mode; the indicator will flash blue once.
- The app will automatically scan for devices. Click on the device named "Weatherseed-xxxx". The app will then automatically pair with the device via Bluetooth. Upon successful pairing, it will proceed to the next interface.
- Enter your WiFi (2.4GHz) password and click "Start binding" to configure the network.
- Enter a device group name and click "Save" to save the settings.
- Once saved successfully, the device information will be displayed.
Using the Device with the Weatherseed App
Weather Forecast
View weather data for the current day and the next 7 days.
Add Device
Add the device and follow the steps to connect to WiFi (using Bluetooth mode for WiFi connection).
Device Panel
Displays indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, air pressure, moon phase, and other information. You can also query historical records and view them in charts or tables.
Alarm Notification
- Set alarm ranges for each data point to receive notifications when a value is reached.
- Receive notifications for firmware and software upgrades.
Personal Home Page
- Unit Switch: Click on "Units" to set your preferred units for each weather data type.
- Alarm Settings: Configure alarm mailboxes, alarm sending times, and alarm information.
Download Data
Click on the "Download" section to download data for the current week or month. You can also select a custom time range for data download.
Troubleshooting
Cannot Receive Alert Notification / Alert Notification Delayed
- Ensure that alert notifications are turned on.
- Verify that the Wi-Fi signal is stable.
- Keep the device as close to the router as possible.
- Reduce obstructions between the device and the router.
Wi-Fi Frequently Disconnects
- Ensure the distance between the device and the router is less than 80 ft (24 m).
- Ensure there are as few obstacles as possible between the device and the router.
- Check if the battery is running low.
- The battery needs to be replaced.
Warning
- The equipment should be operated in an environment with a temperature of -40 to 140°F (-40 to 60°C) and humidity of 10% to 99%.
- Do not roughly disassemble the equipment.
- Do not immerse the unit in water.

Warranty
Sainlogic provides a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship on this product.
This limited warranty begins on the date of original purchase and is valid only for the product purchased and only for the original purchaser of this product.
To obtain warranty service, the purchaser must contact Sainlogic to determine the problem and service procedure. Warranty service can only be performed by Sainlogic. The original dated bill of sale must be presented to Sainlogic upon request as proof of purchase.
