Introduction to Operation
To get the most from your PDA77BU, it is recommended that you review all of the information provided in this manual before operating the equipment.
ATTENTION
1. A: Audio Input Connections
Connect the audio input to the audio output of the CD/DVD/TV. These jacks do not support video signal, so ensure the CD/DVD/AUX terminal is connected. Noise will be heard if you connect the unit to the DVD/TV video output by mistake.
2. B: Signal Output
Signal output that can be connected with other amplifier or speakers.
FM Radio Control
- Connect the FM antenna before using the FM radio.
- Press the MODE button on the front panel or remote control to select FM mode.
- Press the PLAY/PAUSE button on the front panel or remote control to auto scan and store FM Radio stations from 87.5MHz to 108MHz.
- Press the NEXT/PREV button to select the FM station.
- Use the Numeric Keys on the Remote control to select radio channel or frequencies. Press two digits to directly select the radio station in the store. Press three or four digits to directly select the radio station frequency from 87.0-108.0MHz.
Remote Control
The remote control provides access to USB/SD, Wireless BT, DVD, CD, AUX, and FM functions.
- Power Button: Hold for 3 seconds to power off, press to power on.
- Source/EQ Button: Select input source (USB, SD, BT, DVD, CD, AUX, FM). Press EQ MODE to select 8 EQ presets.
- Bass Control: Adjust bass output (BASS- reduces, BASS+ increases).
- Track/Station Navigation: Select previous/next track (USB/SD/BT) or previous/next station (FM).
- Treble Control: Adjust treble output (TREBLE- reduces, TREBLE+ increases).
- Number Pad: Select tracks directly (takes 2-3 seconds for USB/SD).
- Reset Button: Resets the unit software.
- Mute Button: Mutes audio.
- Play/Pause & Auto Scan: Toggles play/pause. Auto scans FM channels (88MHz to 108MHz) and stores them.
- Volume Control: Adjust volume up or down.
- Repeat Mode: Select repeat mode (One, All, Random).
Note: Install two AAA batteries for the remote control to function.
File Format and USB Port
Only MP3, WMA, and WAV formats are supported for USB/SD stored files. The unit may skip unsupported track files.
DO NOT use the USB port for power supply to other devices as it may damage the unit or cause smoke.
Folder Searching
Press the Folder button on the remote to search through folders on the USB flash drive or SD Card. Folders appear by track number and are displayed chronologically. Tracks in the root file are shown first, followed by tracks in folders. Pressing the Folder button displays "F001"; use next/prev buttons to navigate folders. The function exits automatically after 3 seconds of inactivity.
Control Panel Buttons
The front panel features several buttons for controlling the amplifier:
- A. MODE BUTTON: Selects input source (FM, USB, SD, BT, DVD, CD, AUX). Automatically plays files after inserting a USB flash drive or SD card.
- B. MIC/MUSIC BUTTON: Selects BASS/TREBLE knob mode. Adjusts music frequencies (A-ON) or microphone frequencies (A-OFF). 'Random' plays files without a regular pattern.
- C. EQ BUTTON: Selects an EQ mode (General, Live, Vbass, POP, Classic, Jazz, Rock, 3D).
- D. PREV BUTTON: Selects the previous track (USB/SD, BT), previous radio channel (FM), or previous folder.
- E. PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON: Toggles between play and pause. Press once to auto scan FM frequencies (87.5MHz to 108MHz) and store channels.
- F. NEXT BUTTON: Selects the next track (USB/SD, BT), next radio channel (FM), or next folder.

- 9. CHD Master Volume Control Knob: Adjusts volume level for Channel D (Right Channel).
- 10. Microphone Volume Control Knob: Adjusts microphone volume level.
- 11. MICROPHONE INPUTS: Connect KARAOKE or EXTERNAL MIC here.
- 12. AUX Input: Connect IPOD/MP3 devices here.
- 13. Microphone Reverb Depth Control Knob: Adjusts microphone reverb depth.
- 14. Microphone Delay Time Control Knob: Adjusts microphone delay time.
- 15. Treble Control: Adjusts high frequencies for music or microphone (MIC/MUSIC button switches between them).
- 16. Bass Control: Adjusts low frequencies for music or microphone (MIC/MUSIC button switches between them).
- 17. Master Volume Knob: Adjusts the overall master volume.
- 18. FM ANTENNA CONNECTOR: Connect the FM antenna here.
- 19. BLUETOOTH ANTENNA: Pull out the antenna when using Bluetooth input.
- 20. AUDIO INPUT: Connect audio output jacks from DVD/CD here.
- 21. LINE OUTPUT: Connect RECORD input jacks here.
- 22. D-Channel SPEAKER OUTPUT: Connect your speaker system to these terminals.
- 23. C-Channel SPEAKER OUTPUT: Connect your speaker system to these terminals.
- 24. B-Channel SPEAKER OUTPUT: Connect your speaker system to these terminals.
